I don't know dude, but if the guy who made the two mcv videos didn't uploaded his version of the allied mcv, I don't considered this as a continuation or a trilogy. More like a standalone.
i realized it's not the same dude who made it,
it's weird i dont hear any command when the MCV start to build,
but i love this one~

What about the Foehn?
That's the one thing I'm glad you showed. The MCV is not a small vehicle; its actually huge. Someone needs to do a true scale command and conquer mod because I hate seeing it when soldiers are bigger than the tanks.
Excellent animation
I always felt that the cartoonishness of RA2 fit well the with campy storytelling in the game.
a youtuber made a really good point in a video I saw the other day. He said the reason the units aren't to scale is because you're seeing the interface that the commander(you) is using to give orders to his units so it makes sense that the graphics would be unrealistic and the units not to scale in order for the commander to see better. Obviously that's not the real reason but its a decent idea.
@@LucefieD i mean I get that; it just makes my head hurt when you have these large squads of riflemen clown car riding inside APCs in C&C 3 or how the transports in Red Alert 3 can fit 5 people into such a tiny space.
It just feels odd to me and it honestly threw me off as a kid; because when I picked up my first RTS (Starcraft) I literally thought the units on screen were actual size.
Then as an adult I said "Oh wait... those are a thousand times bigger."
So personally I wouldn't mind seeing a True Scale Command and Conquer. It would be fun to me because I like small things like that.

I have been fascinated by the MCVs since childhood, even after I realized their transformation makes zero sense!
the tib wars 3 MCVs have possible transformations
Maybe the RA3 allied MCV makes a lot more sense than RA2

@@hannibalburgers477 I don't believe EA is that dumb. The Allied one has still that cylindrical crane, the Soviet one has the Arab-esque roof, and the Imperial one has the streamline of the rest of it's structures.

Bold of you to assume it's a tool briefcase. In my head canon that briefcase is full of money and he bribes anyone inside (or maybe some aerosol poisen like Sarin, he enters the building and puts it into the ventilation system. Killing everyone and then overwrrites the computers)

GDI MCV by far is the easiest to understand how it deploys regardless of what generation. Specially in 3 where it's just a Forklift/Crane towing it's own base.
When I was a little kid, someone telling me to build barracks first before the ore refinery, but I don't know what is barracks then, and I thought barracks is the MCV lol

When I was little kid playing the first Red Alert, there was an option to play skirmish game with 2000 resources at the beginning (or like that). I've used it and built power plant and then Refinery. So I had money to expand my base and build an army.
Then I went to the enemy's location just to find out that AI built barracks and hadn't had enough money for refinery.
7 years old.

Why 67?
@@paulsegers1880 Easy, I counted the units we need to play at least skirmish. So every unit that is not just campain but also the skirmish.
I did not double count models that are shared between factions like the engineer or the dog. I did not count the MCVs since they are on youtube.
Finally I added 1 extra model for an civilian and one for an civilian car. I know there are way more civilian models but we don't really need them for the game. They are just nice to have. But we need at least one model for Yuri to mind-control.
By my account we need 26+25+14+2 = 67

Well, a First person Red alert 2 was planned but scrapped. Part 2 of Renegade was planned to be set in the Red Alert 2 universe. Running around in that GDI base in the first renegade mission was epic

My favourate game
Man the ingame graphics of the MCVs does not do the things justice for how massive they actually are.
in comparison with Soviet Rhino Tank, a Soviet MCV is bigger and an Apoc is almost as big as said MCV
Imagine at war times this kind of vehicle existed.
