Steve, come on. Joking about how you talk over your guests, fire backhanded compliments, tell their stories for them, and even though you lift some up but also undermine them doesn't work if you don't stop doing it. Especially the new guys. "So Poopies, you're pretty dumb, huh?". Maybe I'm the prick for seeing it that way but I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one.

I definitely see where you're coming from and I agree I think Steve is bad influence for Pam right now because if I'm not wrong stevo and Bam never really got along that well and I feel like Steve-O feels like he has an upper hand on bam an evil way. I want to encourage you to not think you may be a "prick" for going against popular opinion somewhat. We have been brainwashed over a long time to think that daring to say bad things about anything we see or hear is "negative" but that is a regressive policy and only leads to stagnation and atrophy. You have every right to stand up proudly and point out when you think somebody's behaviour is not right or that they may be a hypocrite.

Yessss!!! Finally someone is saying it. This video made me so sick. The way he outs his guests that have addictions or issues like he isn’t one of the biggest ex drug addicts to this day on this podcast. Steve O himself. We’ve watched this for a long time. Even bought his merch and got sauce. Never again. This is a huge example of what money will do to people. Money and fame. Steevo. Is just making a name for himself by treating certain guests this way. Zach is so uncomfortable. SO UNCOMFORTABLE. This is absolutely rediculous. Podcast? Interview ? Nah. More like a public service announcement to out people and make them feel less of themselves the minute they walk out of this podcast. Notice most of the people he treats like this, don’t return.
You missed the part were he actually went out his way to help someone he just met. He had no reason to help him but still did. As anyone in Hollywood would do is use them and lose them but he went out his way to get him a car and pay for his rehab. Even create a website to sell merch. Mind you he’s a great friend of his and what good friends don’t joke around with things in someone’s life . It comes from a place with no malice. I guess laughing at calling his sister a slut was disgusting too, society is making a whole bunch of soft as bubblegum people that rather critic than to toughen up.
I love the WildRide podcast, but really didn't hear much from Zach personally. Really happy for sober living etc. but it just seemed like the agenda gets pushed a bit too much in expense of hearing Zach chat about his own life and whats going on. Just my 2 cents.

Addicts need to be put on blast sometimes when everyone knows it makes it much easier to stay sober. I can see why people are kinda upset but Steve O knows where he’s coming from. Zack is in a very fun / scary position he’s getting rich and fame but he’s also relapsing fairly often, Steve O is just worried.

More attention needed to be paid to Zack's mental health. The 'just push accept!' bit was probably such an overwhelming moment even though the action needed was so small. People suffering with anxiety/depression can struggle to do the smallest things.

You can tell Steve-o's attitude is "I'm an addict too, so I have a free pass to say whatever I want". That's not how it works. Just because you're comfortable talking about certain things, doesn't mean everyone is, someone comes on your show you should treat them with a bit more respect.
I think based off his videos nd shows nd movies Steve o has a personality where he’s comfortable shitting on himself nd others to be funny, but he doesnt realize not everyone is comfortable with that type of comedy. i think its an honest mistake, steveos a great dude in my opinion, people make mistakes

@@justlift213 There's just a lot of unknowns like was it discussed what the topics would be before filming? Does Zach have a similar sense of humor? Idk. Coming from a guy who jokes about sniffing coke mixed with junkie blood, it's a bit different than if it was someone who'd never used once. Only part of it I think he should have avoided was bringing up how he paid for the detox, stuff like that comes off badly. I think Steve is just a bit self unaware. Maybe all the nitrous didn't help what was already a problem. He reminds me of someone with zero limits on what is and isn't too far, has a bit of ADHD, has a bit of an ego and has no ability to filter himself or think before he speaks. I hope he'll see the hate and either explain it was discussed beforehand or apologize to Zach if he was uncomfortable at any point.

His “holier than thou,” attitude and talking down to people that are going through it is the absolute wrong way to go about helping someone. Kinda over him now. I literally can’t stand listening to him talk about his sobriety like it’s better than everyone else’s. And then the whole, “I paid for this, I paid for that” is fuckin annoying as well. It ain’t about the money and you wouldn’t mention it if you were really trying to help. God damn dude, rethink your shit. Probably my last time watching the pod. Good luck to anyone else that’s in recovery and trying to better themselves doing this pod in the future. @@excalibur2038 Sobriety is only a relative virtue. Unfortunately there's plenty of sober assholes out there in "recovery culture", and Steve-O needs a humility check. Novak has shown some less than admirable character traits as well since becoming sober.

Like Steve just wanted to scold him and shame him for all the stuff that Steve did for him, but he also Filmed it in front of thousands of people. Zach didn’t even get to talk. After you get sober you would be surprised at how funny the stories are. I've been sober for almost 9 years now and there's nothing better than sitting around and laughing our asses off at the stupid shit we did when we were high. Unless you've been there don't even comment

It’s a bit bothersome to hear Steve-O say, you shouldn’t work with this guy if he’s loaded. Steve made his entire career while he was loaded. If they had set that policy for Steve, he would likely be unknown today. We all knew he was fucked up back then. And honestly, I love Steve’s Wild Boys content probably more than anything else, when he was coked and nitrous’d out his mind. We accepted him for who he was.

That’s exactly why Zach was picked. Steve-O had the privilege of being left alone to do what he wanted for many years. He was eventually forced in, but he had to get really bad before that happened. I just don’t think young Steve O would’ve stood for being told that in his Wild Boys days. He should have a bit more grace as he deals with Zach.

I JUST realized this interview was here. I've known Zack since highschool. Hearing about Zach's recovery is a beautiful thing. Hometown successes are always great to hear. I am 4 years sober now and life couldnt be better. Congrats Zack! Great interview Steve!

Well… they tried to help bam more than once and he chose drugs. You can’t convince someone to be sober if they don’t really wanna be sober. And he also did a lot of things to burn his bridges with them so… you can’t continue to hold an addicts hand. They’re gonna do what they want.
Literally not the same thing at all. They’ve been trying to help Bam for years and it was in his contract . Regardless if it’s fair or not, it’s not the same thing at all. Y’all bam apologists are weird af . Bam is his own worst enemy .

Bro my teeth are Jacked. It's in my family's Genetics. All my aunt's and uncles lost their teeth in their 20s. My Sis has put 20grand in her mouth and still having trouble. I wish I had the funds to fix mine. People treat you alot differently, and you're self confidence goes way down hill. I had friend's who rarely brushed yet in their 30s still have all their teeth. I brushed and yet I'm still losing all mine and the pain is unbearable. People look at me like I'm a addict and I hate it. But damn is it outrageous to get them fix. Thousands per tooth and dental insurance don't cover shit besides cleaning. It causes lots of Physical and Mental distress. I give dude props because he doesn't seem too worried about it but if I was him that would be the first on my list if I was financially able.

Some places don't have food, water, sewage, electricity, but even alot of 3rd world countries have free dentistry, lol. The US is the worst when it comes to dental help because the US is all about Money. It should be covered by Insurance like any other medical problem. Insurance covers Physical and Mental conditions so why isn't dental allowed when it causes both and some of the worst pain I ever felt and as someone who worked most of my life Commercially on the water Fishing and Crabing I can take some pain. Also the ER will help with any medical emergencies yet most of the time they turn you away if its dental related unless you're about to die right then and there. It's ridiculous, not everyone has alot of money or even Insurance and when it comes to bad tooth pain and tooth infection we should all be helped immediately. We are blessed to be born in the US but without money you're definitely treated differently. Just letting you know you're not alone, like the old saying goes, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and if you have bad teeth and been in alot of pain then that makes you a very tough person. There is help out there for Dental like College hospitals and certain places will work with you but its alot of running around. Goodluck Godbless my friend.

I'd rather cut off a couple toes with zero drugs than get my teeth all pulled. All I know is that they're gonna have to have me on enough benzos to kill an elephant just to get me into the building then put me into a k hole during the entire operation cuz I'll fkn lose it if I'm not completely out. Was just trying to drink myself to death daily but now that I quit drinking last summer, that's back on the table and it's enough stress to go get some fentanyl and do something I haven't done in over 10 years. Not going to but fuck...
On the plus side, we're probably some of the only people besides criminals who had no problem wearing a mask when that shit was at the peak! Fuck, I still wear one in public and it's not from fear of catching anything haha

Maybe it's just me, but, I feel like Zach just doesn't feel comfortable or happy with his life. I used to have a friend who you could just see right through his cheesy smile and you could just tell he was completely destroyed inside. I dunno, I just pray his sobriety works and continues to help him be and stay happy with himself
It's crazy to go from filming Zach getting hit in the nuts with a tire off the roof of his cousin's house, then years later he was on MTV and now the new jackass movie. I'm so happy to see he made his dream's become a reality and I feel lucky I got to spend time with him and be a small part of helping him with a video. You always knew those videos were taking you places and you did it. Congrats on everything bro and I wish you the best on the rest of your journey through life

At this point Steve-O really needs to be humbled. There’s a disconnection now where his only empathy involves recommendations on sobriety based on his own gung Ho success story. Yeah I feel like they were being pretty rough on him, they didn't let him steer the conversation at all and they basically just lectured him for an hour. Also, what was with all the laughing while Zack was talking about his drug use? He seemed pretty irritated throughout, understandably.
Everyone slamming Steve-o, dude, chill. This guy could be dead without his help. You’re judging and coming to conclusions from a 1 hour talk. You don’t know what’s been going on behind the scenes. The team has clearly tried setting everything up for Zach and being so good to him, but he’s just been throwing it back in their face. Kind isn’t working, so they’re shifting to tough love. And honestly, Zach talks about it like he misses it a LOT and doesn’t want to be sober. I think alot of people are misdirecting the blame here.
It's pretty cool to see someone I went to school with on screen. Zac is hilarious now and was hilarious back in the day. I hope he can get his stuff together and make it even bigger in the future. Good show zac!
