- In 2020, halogen bulbs tend to look outdated and immensely more dim when compared to LED or HID bulbs. That being said, upgrading from the OEM halogen light bulbs in my 2019 Dodge Challenger SXT was a must for better light output and an up-to-date look. In this video, I show you how to install the High Output LED Conversion Kit from Oracle Lighting.

I was wondering why he didn't show the driver side. I'm pretty sure you have to remove the air filter.
What about the dust cap, will debris get in without it? Also can you do it without the decoder/ module.
The new 2021 Firehawks allow you to place the dust cap back on as it doesn't have any long wiring at all.

I watched the Fog Light video, So I had to watch this one too :-) Getting amped up to change out my bulbs on my 2014 Challenger R/T
I literally just purchased some Firehawk 2021 New H11/H8/H9 LED Bulbs, 15000LM Japanese CSP, 400% Brightness, 200% Night Visibility, 6000K Cool White, Pack of 2 after having my Challenger SXT for 4 years and it is a 2018. The halogen bulbs really suck and they blew out roughly three or four months ago and put some new halogen bulbs in and it just seemed even worse. The lighting is terrible and gets no distance. Hopefully from the really good reviews and from the demonstration these LED's do my car justice like yours.
Just to confirm, does this change DRL’s from Amber to white after the conversation?

I can wholeheartedly say that these LED’s are worth every penny, and they are much brighter than the OEM halogen bulbs.
Ummmm. You didn't show re-installing the dust caps. Did you just leave them off? Did they go right back on? Did you have to modify them? All that extra driver cabling?
Ordered these last week and should be arriving today. I also have a 2017 SXT and the passenger halogen headlight died on me already. Thanks for the tutorial and review 👍

Hi Jeremy, any idea why my lights don't light up as yours do at minute 5:41? The outer circle doesn't light when I turn my daylight running lights or the night lights, the ring doesn't light on any of them, just the bulb. Thanks in advance.

Why are the lights flickering
Did you leave the dust cap off? Or did you tuck it all in and close it up with the cap?
Were you able to put the dust cap back on or does it require modification as far as drilling a hole thru or could u just shove the extra wire in the lighting area
Was thinking the same thing most vids I've seen they left the cap off but I'm thinking for the bulbs longevity drill a hole or use a dremmel tool to make an incision through the cap to feed the wire through just a thought tho
I just installed these. I had to shove the wires in the hole. I don't know how he put the dust cover back on.

The drivers are small enough to get inside the housing so you can seal it with the dust cover. I'm not comfortable with having that wiring outside of the housing and it will fit.
That lil box with all the wiring will fit inside the dust cap?
@@jaithen29 Yes, I did it and it worked out just fine. Those lights are more $$ because they made the drivers small. The wire ties might help compact the wiring but I didn't need them.

Looks cool but I check oracle site they don’t make fog lights LED lightbulb to match the headlights lightbulb. Where will you buy the fog light LED lightbulb from?
Anthony Gaona I purchased a set of LED fog lights from the Diode Dynamics website. I’ll be uploading an installation video of those very soon!

Anthony Gaona The fog lights are rated at 6,000K, the same as the LED headlights from Oracle Lighting, so they should be a perfect match.

Surprisingly, no, I have not had any issues.
You've got the box on your paint! Yeah, you must be driving in some dust bowl. That's going to be a pain to clean. The part about connecting the driver is off camera, just FYI.

Maybe the bulbs need to be tightened. Mine flickered on the passenger side when I turned the car on. It was a little loose when I checked.
Did they still work? I got them and they worked then they flickered and turned off ?
@@rgrodriguez671 I ended up taking them off cause they kept turning off. They ended up draining my battery and im pretty sure my alternator is fucked now too 🙃
My issue is that my headlights work perfectly fine until it gets too cold outside. If its 60° or lower they will turn on and off. If higher than 60° they will work perfectly fine.

How come your 2019 challenger comes eith cheaper bulbs? I have the 2015 rt plus comes with HID bulbs
The high intensity discharge ( HID ) bulbs come with the Plus Package.

Question should the led light be facing up and down once locked in or side to side?
When installed, the LED chips should be facing side-to-side.
Does the driver and all that extra wiring fit inside the housing alright? Looks like alot of extra stuff to cram in there?
I’m sure you could shove all of it in there, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

Did you have to install led resistor because I bought the same kit as you due to the video and my car lights flash on then off.. installed new fuses and it just didnt work.. hmmm I have the same car as you.
No, I didn’t install anything other than what is seen in the video.

If anyone has this issue, the cause was a bad car battery. Replaced it and the lights no longer flicker on/off

When you change to a new headlight, your black lid is gone, right?
Yes, I removed the lids that were blocking the headlight intakes.

Do you reinstall the caps on the back of the housing?
No, you can’t reinstall the dust caps due to the wiring for the LED’s. Others have drilled holes in the dust caps to route the wires through, but I don’t see the point in that.

Why are the auto parts store saying LEDs can’t be fitted in challenger V6?
Yes, LED lights are legal. In fact, some vehicles come with LED’s from the factory. Your best bet is to purchase a set of high quality LED lights online.

They’re actually illegal (all aftermarket LED and HID are illegal) but just don’t tell anybody and adjust the aim to not blind other drivers and you’re good 👍🏻

That is correct. Everything you will need is included in the kit.

Yes, you can still use your high beams.

No, the daytime running lights are completely separate from your headlights.
Huge diference with the leds on the look of the car

Unfortunately, none of the Dodge Challenger trims come with OEM LED’s. However, you can purchase HID’s as an option from the factory.

I personally prefer the light output of LED’s over HID’s, but you have to purchase a good quality of bulbs.

Don’t bother with this product bought it for my 2019 Challenger SXT expecting amazing results considering the price tag but ended up getting LEDs that don’t light the road ahead of me more than 8 feet. Wore gloves, read front and back, tried going to their page. With no luck I asked for a return with hopefully a refund after spending over $145+ just to get denied instantly with no follow up questions. Terrible product save your money
