I've been watching you for almost two years now and I'm so proud of you! This was such an amazing performance and your dancing looks so calm and effortless!
Talia, don't be so hard on yourself. You danced that variation beautifully, much better than some that made the Grand Final (and I watched ALL the variations). Your only 15 years old doing something that even a 30 year old Prima Ballerina would have confidence issues with. Keep up the good work :)
+Talia Fidra I want to thank you for inspiring me every time! I recently started ballet about six weeks ago. After the first week my teacher moved me up to level two. I can already do a pirouette. I'm ten and I also almost have the splits. I've never taken a dance class so I think I'm really a head. YIU inspire me so much! I hope I can be like you when I'm older! Have a wonderful day!
Amazing lines, great control!! the only thing that I think you can improve on is your artistry, but I also understand you were probably really really nervous due to the dimension of this competition... Keep up with the great work!!
This is stunning, Talia! I'm very surprised you didn't make it to the final round but there is always next year! Also this variation is one of my favorite ones to dance as well as to watch and you performed it beautifully.
So great to watch and you did so well. Amazing lines and control and you looked gorgeous. Well done with how it all went! Also love your costume, stunning tutu 💖
I'm from Brazil and I love the videos of BCYB, I saw photos from wizard oz, and found it amazing! you know if the video will be available on the Internet?
I think you did amazing!! I think artistry was mentioned before, and that's also the only thing I noticed. You seem a little stiff on top, specially your arms. Maybe "let go" a little? Still love it though, and love your channel in general!
You have inspired me so much! I started ballet six weeks ago and I go moved up two level two. I'm ten and have never taken a ballet class, and you have showed me why I love ballet! You are a huge inspiration! ❤️❤️❤️
Sessy Malin ballet is not easy at all, that's why you need to start at a very young age, ir you want to dance as a professional it's gonna be more hard but not impossible, if you really want to dance don't let anything stop you and start as soon as you can :)
I started ballet at 12 and I'm now 13 and on pointe and going to a summer intensive this year! If you're determined and ready to work, you can totally do it!
Sweetheart, I am 28, I began my professional career at 17, began ballet at 14! I am returning after a 6 year break. No it's not easy! But if you love it, it will just be part of the process for you. Discipline is all you need and you won't know until you begin. When it comes to turn out and placement people are going to tell you allot of ugly things. It's antiquated thinking. Look at Ballet Conrad on you tube. You will learn so much. Research the school you want to do. Keep your chin up, work hard, 110% everyday, corrections are good! It means your being watched, mean girls... they're threatened. Try it! You won't know until you do! It is a life style though! You will be an athlete, lots of work!! Happy turns! Oh! 'Mared'! (It's how dancers say break a leg...)
Eyy! You're pretty good! I'm a ballet dancer of 15, and you're pretty exceptional. I'm a dude, so it's a little harder to appreciate... but you're still wonderful!
To become a professional ballerina (over time) do you have to go to a company school right away or can I start at a non-company school. Is it too late to start (I'm 14)
You got the hardware and the software (seems everything), and based on your videos you also got the artistry. You may need freedom which releases your artistry. You'll be a start.
I agree with everyone else - your technique is lovely, but you do seem a little stiff. yes it could be nerves, but try to relax a little and just let the movement happen. and that will come with experience and practice, it's never an instantaneous thing. but seriously keep up the great work - you will go far with your talent!
I don't think she placed in finals. I don't think she even made it to the final round. It's probably really hard at her age, because a lot of people in the senior division are at the age where they look for company contracts. Talia's amazing though and I hope to see her place in the next few years.
Sasha O not everybody who competes as a soloist at yagp new york finals makes the final round. finals is the best and final round is the best of the best.

Yes I agree! But her technique is beautiful!
You are so amazing you are very good at captivating the audience I couldn't take my eyes of you the whole time !❤️

Amazing control!

Your right arm is always a little stiffer than the left one! I have the same problem, only it's the other way around !
She is such a good dancer💕keep it up talia
Wow your so great your such a good role model to the younger and older people❤️❤️
SOOO GOOD!!!
stunning!!
so beautiful and elegant😍how do you get your ankles so strong for all those hops en pointe?
You have inspired me so much! I started ballet six weeks ago and I go moved up two level two. I'm ten and have never taken a ballet class, and you have showed me why I love ballet! You are a huge inspiration! ❤️❤️❤️
this is amazing! your such a beautiful dancer. how many years have you been doing pointe work?
you are amazing!
you're so beautiful and the variation was amazing!!❤❤❤congrats!
Beatiful ♡

I want to start ballet but is it to late to start 14???

Sessy Malin it's never too late. i started at 13. you'll probably be placed with younger girls at your studio though.
Misty Copeland started when she was 13, and now she is a principal dancer. Just work as hard as you can, and never give up.
I started ballet at 12 and I'm now 13 and on pointe and going to a summer intensive this year! If you're determined and ready to work, you can totally do it!

(It's how dancers say break a leg...)
lovely control and artistry, would be a much more interesting with a bit more epaulement

its best to start in a non company school and work towards it all the best of luck xx
Where did you place?
You got the hardware and the software (seems everything), and based on your videos you also got the artistry. You may need freedom which releases your artistry. You'll be a start.

can pointe beginner do this?
Vivian Law some of them yes but not with correct technique and ao on you need to first learn to do basics on pointe
definitely not, it's not advised for a beginner to hop en pointe
What place did you come (I'm guessing first because your amazing )
It's not always (actually it rarely is) about places in dance competitions. Especially for ballet.
i know i was just wondering ...
I don't think she placed in finals. I don't think she even made it to the final round. It's probably really hard at her age, because a lot of people in the senior division are at the age where they look for company contracts. Talia's amazing though and I hope to see her place in the next few years.
Cindy Chen this is a video from the finals so yes she made it to the finals.
Sasha O not everybody who competes as a soloist at yagp new york finals makes the final round. finals is the best and final round is the best of the best.
Very nice ♡
does anyone have any tips for the pointe shoe exam? I am really stuck
Hi, why are not you on conzervatory ? 😮😇
Your amazing! I look so bad now compared to you and I'm only a year away from you😂😅❤️
What ballet is this variation from?
tutu is beautiful
Like if you cry evrytime
how old are you Talia
Wuuuu!
your feet are absolutely beautiful! please do more dance tips videos 🐰🍍
i cri evry tim
you did amazing you have great legs just express more smile
She's got great lines and strength, but shes missing, artistry
Your personality in your volgs do not match this performance. Your technique is great, but without artistry it is mechanical.
You rote vlogs wrong
Tina McCann maybe she was trying to portray the personality of the character, which is what ballet dancers are supposed to do.
P Heart that's what atristry means , she didn't portray the character well in this performance
Tina McCann that’s exactly what bothered me
Your technique is great but your upper body looked stiff
second 😋
first
stunning!!
