Hi Mike, Matt in Nebraska…hope all is well with you. Really looking forward to this series. I just about bought a Venom a few weeks back. Really eager to see what can be done with the rear tail light and license bracket. That black plastic monstrosity has to go!😀. Really… fix that, raise the front fender, possibly paint the chain guard and swap out some decals… I think I could live with it. I think yo covered raising the front fender in a previous series. Dont recall is that was on the “old” channel or the new one. Guess I have something to search tomorrow. Thanks for all you do…you are spot on with the pricing. Its crazy… a guy wanted me to check out some parts he had for sale…. Knowing I messed around with the old 70’s…$500 for just a frame?? Come on.
I bought two ice bear 125cc's almost two years ago, one for 1058.00 and the other for I think 1262.00 from ATV and Scooters, but what made you purchase these bike's since you have so many others on hand?
Most CT70’s are priced out of my range now and there seems to be a growing market for the clones. I’m on a few clone FB pages and the guys there have lots of questions. I felt the best way to answer their questions was to actually have the bikes their working on.
I'm interested to see all the differences - I bought my 2021 from CajunMaddogs.com last March and have had a lot of fun with it. Interesting that the Amigo comes with the front wheel assembled - I had to get a new master cylinder set because when I assembled everything the front brakes weren't operable because of a defective master cylinder. All good now though.
I’ve seen multiple people post that their front axle bolt was bent when they received the bike. I totally understand now, what a crappy way to secure the front end. I haven’t pulled it yet, but looks like my axle is bent as well.
@@MiniBikeMike Uh oh - yeah, mine was bent as well. I had to wait another almost 2 weeks before I could do anything much with mine, and then I found out the brakes were bad! Talk about a patience builder. It was a month or more before I could actually ride mine, and I was absolutely thrilled just to get it around the block! I have a few little videos on my channel of some of the processes.
@@mrstangblb Yes your order for warranty parts was sent to Icebear the day I received your request. I had no control over shipping out times with limited warehouse workers at Icebear due to Covid. One thing for sure Cajun Maddog's stand behind everything they sell.
A cool pickup.
Looking forward to the comparison.
Thanks!
Your channel just keeps getting better! Can't wait to hear about the part interchangeability between Ct-70s and the Clones.
Thanks! I’ll be tearing each bike down to the bare frame and building back up. Hope to cover all parts of the bikes.
Awesome, i'm looking to pick one of these up. Your videos will help me decide between these two!
Outstanding! I'll be staying tuned-in.
Kan niet wachten totdat je ze hebt uitgepakt, ben zeer benieuwd
Succes
My question is where can you buy these safely ? A lot of the websites seem very sketchy
Cajun Maddogs. Very honest company.
looking forward to these builds
Me too!
