Thank you so much! The pattern I was struggling with was NOT helpful & I wasted so much time, until I finally put 2 & 2 together and found your SO helpful video.MMMMWAAHHH!
Thanks for that. I always found it difficult to carry the other thread. Can more than one thread be carried along, or does it then look unsightly at the edge?
Off topic: you suggested that you might add to the surprise sock-along contrast blast design family and you mooted a pup sweater. I'd be interested in mitts (perhaps fingerless or full hand or both types, I leave that up to you), and a hat in the contrast blast pattern.
That's exactly what i have done on my wooly waffle shawl but i've bien loosing my "make one Stitch" as i knitted the end of the wrong side... Any suggestions to avoid it?
Really difficult to learn when you aren’t clearly shown the back side. This video goes so fast and part of it shows only the right side while talking about the back side. I had to go to other tutorials in order to figure out how to do this. Also it doesn’t talk about what to do when you have two stripes (4 rows) of the same color before changing yarn colors as required in the Glittering Snowscapes Shawl. I love Stephen’s videos but sure wish this one had been just “a little more”.
This made the color change so clear! Thank you.
I'm so glad!
You have changed my knitting forever love icord edgings so much try to use them on everything. Thank you❤
I just love how you explain every detail. Your voice is really soothing. You are a great instructor. Thank you for all of your tips
You are so welcome!
That's EXACTLY what I do when I make my dotted rays!!!
Carry that yarn in the I-cord!!
Love it.
Wow, that speedy knitting ... I wish. But 'Embrace your pace' is what Stephen West says 😊

Thanks Steven! You're the best!
Thank you! Thank God, this is the one I needed most.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for one more great tuto !
Thank you for all you share 😉
Thank you! This is exactly what I needed!
Phenomenal video thank you. How do I do this when I’m using 10 different colours?
Thank you! Exactly what i needed to know!
Brilliant. Thank you.

What lovely yarn is this you're using in this video?
Great trick, thank you.
Really helpful! Thanks!!❤❤
Thank you very much
Genius thanks
I carry all four colors inside iCord edge
Can you continue the I-cord in stripes only and the middle section in one colour? Thank you
Is this impossible with a single row stripe? My pattern calls for a single row of my secondary color but I want the edges to look nice
