Absolutely wonderful, i have been looking for this type of Icode edge knitting for a long time, because on every knitting channel i was watching the videos and I was thinking about how I can make both edges look the same on the same side. Except for every one making both edges look different on the same side. Thank you so much for uploading this useful video. ❤

This is brilliant. I want to make blankets for an Animal Shelter and need tidy edges that are sturdy as well. I have some aran weight yarn that I want to use up and this will make a nice edge to the blankets. This would be nice for edging on a scarf as well. If I have enough yarn left over from making my Prayer shawl I could make a scarf in the same yarn. This has lots of applications 💖🧶🙂

Very much off topic, but I agree that you could be a hand model. Stephen West works his i-cord edge in this manner: knit the first three stitches and slip the last three in each row. Not sure why, but both versions look really good.

Another very useful tutorial, thank you.
How would I work the i-cord edging for a finished blanket/scarf, please?
