When you reach a corner, ch 3, work dc decrease over 3dc, ch 3, 3sc in chain loop, 1sc in corner/center dc, 3 sc in loop, continuing as established around.

I always end up working about half a row ahead of you with these tutorials. Not because I'm fabulous (I'm SO not!), but because your explanations make it sound so easy! You make the rest of us look like pros!
I've had this one bookmarked since the day it went up. I'm doing a Forest and Fairies themed blanket for my granddaughters, and this looked like the perfect foundation for all my little motifs. I'll post you a picture of the finished product, if you want to see.
    Keep bringing these tutorials, please?

Came across your channel and just fell in love with all that you have done ! I’ve been crocheting for lots of years. My mother taught me with aunt Lydia’s rug yarn when I was six. Then a few years later my grandmother got me started with doilies. So I’ve picked up knowledge and skills over the years. I was pleasantly pleased to learn a different way to join at the end of a round. My works look SO much better. The ugly gap and such are HISTORY! THANK YOU!

This is so beautiful. I've already done one of these, and I've just started doing it a second time. This time, I'm doing it with a #3 weight thread and a 5mm hook. Just as a variation, instead of skipping a stitch on the decrease of the leaves, I'm doing a 2-stitches-together decrease. Seems to be working okay (ending each leaf with a 3-together-decrease).
    So far, so good!

Great idea for a table cloth! Another idea is to use a thinner yarn and a smaller gauge hook to decrease the laciness (is that a word? Lol) 😁🕷🕸☕

Fiber Spider yes, I definitely think a lighter weight yarn is the way to go for such a thing. A sport weight cotton should work.
But golly I love this dark green!
Laciness is a word that I use, so yes. LOL. But, also, yes because it really IS a word. :)

vegangelist It's like you read my mind, I have three skeins of the ombre in teal that I thought would be the perfect colour and yarn for this pattern the first time I saw it. FiberSpider's tutorials are definitely the best. 💞

Think this would look awesome if you crochet some flowers and dotted across the top as a blanket, also if you put a plastic stitch marker on the corner post your would always know it was the corner if crocheting and chatting for example so not always mindful where you were and would definitely help people watching identify oh it’s a corner. I’m just trying to suss out a way to make it not square off for thinking cap I would want one that is narrower than long for a bed spread maybe have to make small ones and crochet them together

This Blanket is amazing. I was wondering if this pattern will look good if I change yarn color. Like a fading of green? Or with a Variegated yarn? Love at first sight, with this stitch.
