The worst part of living in SA is the summer heat. It’s unbearable for this Michigan girl. Been here 2.5 years and hopefully will be moving back to MI in May. Maybe come back for winters because the winter here is awesome.
I’ve lived in San Antonio long ago. In 70’s Shernandoah subdivision ( 1968). My grandparents lived in prestigious northwest. And my final home was in Churchill. Later, I lived in Galveston Island and Houston. I’m thinking of moving to Pennsylvania to be near my old friends. But, they loved San Antonio too.
These are beautiful neighborhoods, but they are too expensive for the average San Antonian. Don't forget to consider the HOA fees can run pretty high. The traffic in San Antonio is starting to be as bad as Houston. It would be nice for you to highlight older neighborhoods like Braun Station.
I love mid century and ranch style homes with space between my neighbors and I….my bestie said city of Castle Hills is the best for mid century homes and small town vibe. Own police, mayor and fire.
Hi Ji! Your bestie is right, Castle Hills is a great place to live. Especially for the convenience factor ! You can get basically wherever you need to In the city, without having to drive for what seems like forever.
Hey Garrett To be honest with you, there’s plenty of commercial gyms just about everywhere in SA. Golds, lifetime , LA fitness, 24 hour fitness, etc all over San Antonio. Shouldn’t have too much trouble finding one Don’t hesitate to give us a call when that time comes to move into a home. We’d love to help. Thanks for the support
Hey Nicole ! Yes , the one you see here in the video is stone oak park. It has a nice little “roundabout” trail to walk as well as a playground for the kiddos. Directly across the road from that is a much larger trail. Happy exploring !

Looking to move to Texas from Los Angeles, don’t know the area yet, intrigued by Katy, but open to anywhere. San Antonio, or Austin. Chat soon.
Sounds good,
We look forward to hearing from you soon !
Have you ever considered Nashville?
Do you know of any walking paths or a park with a walking path, in the Stone Oak area?
