In this short video, we capture the second Dorset Coast Statesman of year on both it's inbound and outbound journeys. Last time I captured this tour, I uploaded two separate videos of each. But this time, I thought I would combine the two clips I got into one, creating the video you see here.
The two engines featured in this video are Class 47 no. 47712 'Lady Diana Spencer' (returning from the previous DCS last month) and this time joined by Class 57 no. 57311 (basically a Class 47 with an EMD engine and an re-conditioned alternator), which I believe is the first time this loco has done this tour, as far as I can tell. I even got honked by the 57 as it started it's return leg.
