THe only reason I like the antigrav portions of the game is because of how atmospheric it makes those regons. It just feels so much more alien for there to be these massive constructs, where gravity is being bent to the will of the giant supercomputers that live inside
Maybe the reason people don't like the antigrav sections is because they are trying to play it like Rain World with Rain World movement instead of Rain World in zero-g? Yeah, it's a bit scummy sometimes, but if you just take your time you'll get through it eazy peazy

with local multiplayer being the only option to play rain world I doubt there's going to be unique screens per player until the entire game is turned into online multiplayer.
The splitscreen mod actually has a setting to have another window on your second monitor (if you have one) With some setup, you can stream the second window to the other player, giving you each your own full sized window.

My personal rule is to never go to struts (unless I want to have a bad time). Randomizer or not, it is hell on earth.
