Makes me wonder what did dale know about dega that most of us don't. You just don't go from 15th to 1st in less than 5 laps. Amazing driver and missed by any and all old CUP fans
6:50 you can hear the roar of the crowd ,even in the midst of the cars going by and being in the box . such a great moment of the love for Dale being the master and his last dance in victory lane
remember watching this and having goosebumps the whole time and hearing my dad cheer on dale the whole way. He even passed on the the apron too that last 20 laps. this video will never get old, good memories all around. About makes me cry.
"I don't like restrictor plate racing."--Dale Earnhardt after winning a restrictor plate race. I usually only root for underdogs, but Dale Earnhardt had a way of seeming like an underdog even though he is a 7-time champ. A very unique quality.
MRN Never followed DE going threw the pack like Jerry P. on TV.Nothing said till DE reached 4th.Audio after race was PRICELESS.Sucks no video. Thanks for posting.Man do i still miss this guy!!! 3
I haven't been able to watch NASCAR since Dale, Sr.'s fatal crash. Maybe one day, but it's been one heck of a long time. This was my favorite Dale, Sr.'s win. I was kind of lightly napping because I didn't think Dale was going to win. Hubby got super excited and woke me up and I woke up in time to watch Dale win.
I remember watching this race at Drake Union at the Ohio State University. I was super excited about his unbelievable come-from-behind in the last few laps, and because Dale finally won the Winston Million! I'd been rooting for him to win it for years, and he finally did it this October day. I had no idea it would be the last time I'd see Dale in victory lane...
I remember watching this in my living room. When Sr. started to make his run, I was now standing in front of my TV yelling go go! When he won I was hollering at the top of my lungs! Most incredible race I'd ever seen. Only Dale could do something like that!
If big e didn’t go from 17 to first in 4 laps they would’ve enjoyed Jeff Gordon going from 15th to 4th in the same timespan!!!. That was the greatest finish I ever saw.
@DialgaRules24 i, too miss what i consider the golden age of NASCAR. nowadays the sponsors and drivers change too much for me too keep up it seems. i can still name most of the drivers and sponsors from this era, although i know it will never be that way again. all i can do is root for Dale Jr.
As far as bursting the Earnhardt bubble that can not be done, as far as Gordon, he was a good racer that Earnhardt took under his wing and taught him the ropes, and by the way who won the race? as far as Skinner, it looked like JR almost wrecked because Skinner was in the way (maybe Skinner should have tried the truck) This video was about another great Dale Earnhardt moment, if the Gordon fans don't like it they can find a Gordon highlight, if the Skinner fans don't like it.....good luck
speedfreak took him under his wing?... if anything dale Jocked him every chance he could. Always clowned him like he was a little kid. Jeff got his payback on the track. If anything Jeff was the one guy that couldn’t be Intimidated.
TheDCGuitar13 Even Gordon said it was Dale just having fun with him. Gordon didnt hate the teasing because it was friendly. Hell there’s plenty of stories where Dale wanted to bring Gordon to DEI, but Jeff refused due to Hendrick giving him his break, which Dale was ok with. Dale also was the guy primarily showed Gordon the ropes, and taught Jeff quite a good amount of things. It hasnt changed since then.
These past announcers calling the race as it unfolds makes the race more exciting to watch compared to now days. Have no interest in it anymore as all my buddies give up on it also
Best years listening to Eli gold, Joe moore, Alan best wick, ken squier and Barney hall. These broadcasters today like Mike joy Michael waltrip and Jeff Gordon and Dale jr are more like clowns
I know that “refuse to lose” was evernhams thing but damn did big e live it every single race but his last. It saddens me that the day he chose to willingly lose, he died.
This was when the most talented 43 stock car drivers in American actually raced in the Cup series. Today it's a joke that some of these jerk offs have rides.
I was the only black kid in the neighborhood who went in every sunday ta watch the race and dale sr is the reason why. Best ever
Fonz MWW that's cause you where smart
Indeed
Yea man that's awesome. In some places you can be the only black or white fan around. I wish the fan base would grow again. With all races.
Love that MRN announcement style. That should be what we hear on TV every race
MRN IS THE BEST. VOICES & People Change but the TOP QUALITY DOES NOT!
I periodically watch these final laps. It Is very inspiring to see the Intimidator do his thing.
Makes me wonder what did dale know about dega that most of us don't. You just don't go from 15th to 1st in less than 5 laps. Amazing driver and missed by any and all old CUP fans
@@matthewmelvin9742 It was pure God given talent. That's all I can figure.
"They're banging fenders 4-deep for the top spot!" Amazing call by Allen Bestwick..MRN is awesome

Laurieb2851 me too... Love seeing this Win.....again...
Because radio has to paint the picture for a blind person and can't mention everything.
My wife and I were there and witnessed the most amazing NASCAR Win…..EVER!
Dale Earnhardt, You're the Greatest Ever!
I remember watching this race at Drake Union at the Ohio State University. The greatest come outta nowhere for the win I've ever seen. He was the GOAT
Geeatest NASCAR driver of the past 30 years... fact
The man could drive!!! Was there, made 500 bucks with bet I made 15 laps to go!! Thank u Dale! Love ya!!
It’s the anniversary of this win, twenty years later I still tear up.
God blessed you Dale Earnhardt Sr!
I remember watching this in my living room. When Sr. started to make his run, I was now standing in front of my TV yelling go go! When he won I was hollering at the top of my lungs! Most incredible race I'd ever seen. Only Dale could do something like that!
Shout out to Dave Moody. Always love hearing his voice, play by play and commentary.
Rubato Wolf I love his calls too. I hate that they put so much reverb on his voice in the radioactive video. No need. His calls are exciting enough!
Allen’s call at @5:27 gives me chills every time
11:03 you heard it hear folks
I miss this racing :(
nascar will always be the winston cup to me.
7:09 This moment right here where Junior and Labonte almost wrecked the field is what sealed the win for Earnhardt.
Did I just hear the voices of Joe Moore, Dave Moody, and Eli Gold or was it only me?
Yes and Allen Bestwick and Barney Hall
The dream team
6:10 its not the same when Dr. Jerry Punch said on the broadcast "And Here comes Earnhardt"
Man this is great.
If big e didn’t go from 17 to first in 4 laps they would’ve enjoyed Jeff Gordon going from 15th to 4th in the same timespan!!!. That was the greatest finish I ever saw.
Taking us all to school one last time.
Yep pretty much
PLEASE GOD GIVE BACK DALE EARNHEARDT WE WILL GIVE YOU KYLE BUSCH
4:50 - The critical move, Dale cuts between both main traffic lanes when he gets a run, and carries it all the way around to the trioval.
Greatest thing I’ve ever witnessed!was there turn 1
I did a race on xbox live where I took the white flag in 10th place, and was able to finish 2nd. Felt a little like #3 there.
zach catanzareti yep same I took the white flag and I was the 20th car down took the white flag and won. Wm how well I wreck the whole field lol
give em hell dale man i miss the heck out of dale sr
I was there. 20 years ago. I’m 17 now.
Awesome upload. Favorited.

That's horseshit and ANY real NASCAR fan knows it. STFU !!!!!

In my opinion, for once, TV was more exciting to hear than MRN.
I was there for this
Funny how with 8 laps left they like so we're you wanna try to win from 1st 2nd or 3rd? No let's go to 15th and win. That's just awesome!
WOW Cool !!!! thanks for posting

Majority of people: OMG this is Srs last win, its so memorable

I was so hoping Andretti would pull off this upset.
5:18

Jr. took Skinner out so "daddy" could win. BS
Just look at all the people!! Nascar is dead now.
Allen best wick is terrible
This comment is terrible
MRN's coverage is just horrible. Barney Hall needed to retire about 10 years ago.
***** Fuck no I wasn't.
***** Right, I agree there. The Waltrips are unbearable.
Barney Hall didn't retire until 2014.
+Paul T. Backes By the way, MRN has GOOD coverages in NASCAR races actually.
Barney Hall and Eli Gold❤
And Allen Bestwick
