The Bellroy website has the capacity listed as 4L. You stated 2.5L, but I'm going to assume the mfr. is accurate. Good review. I'm getting this one, but wanted to doublecheck the capacity since I prefer 4L. Thanks!
Thanks for the great video! It's genuinely so refreshing that you steer clear of the whole "bro" vibe that seems so prevalent in other EDC gear videos. Thank you and keep up the awesome work!
Took me a while to find my xm3’s. Yes you can fit them inside with a few other items. I’d say it’s a fairly tight fit though and you’d have to take it off to add/remove the headphones
@@DaveSam13 thank you so much for the reply. That I‘d need to take it off in order to get the Sonys out is not an issue, I‘m thinking about buying the sling mini for travel, and as I need to pack quite a huge backpack with photo gear, I‘d need sth small for just the stuff I need during the flight and on the airport. Phone, small wallet (also bellroy ;)) and, if they fit, a pair of glasses.
I currently use a Peak Design Everyday 5L sling and it’s great but I’m looking for something smaller for just my X100F with the WCL attached, extra battery, sd, keys and wallet. I’m pretty sure the X100F will fit with the WCL unscrewed. The WCL makes the camera lens protrude quite a bit. I’m looking at this sling, the Wandrd D1 and the Moment Fanny Sling. The Bellroy seems to be the better looking of all 3. Just throwing this out there in case anyone has an answer. Great video man!
Hmm I feel this issue for sure. The bellroy is the best looking BUT the least functional for the kind of carry you describe, imo. The Moment slings we’re really built for camera carry and I think will off the most versatility. Hope that helps!
@@DaveSam13 Thanks for the reply! I kept looking and stumbled upon a video of the Peak Design Field Pouch V2. It showed a X100F and the TCL and seems to fit alright. Since I already own some Peak Designs products, I decided to give it a try, if it doesn’t work, I’ll give the Moment a try. Thanks!
i have a question, well a shortlist and i cant decide, i have the Aer city sling, the tomtoc urban sling and the pacsafe vibe 350 on my shortlist. its for everyday, trips into london and perhaps flights etc, what would you choose and why?
@@DaveSam13 those were my thoughts exactly. I do find the quick release clasp useful for when I'm all tangled up in my jacket or backpack or something.
Yes I think you could but two things 1) the strap is fairly thin so it may be uncomfortable and 2) because the strap compress the bag, it may be counter productive because a hip bag usually needs to be a bit tighter to your body. That makes it harder to get in the bag because it’s more compressed. Hope that helps!
Yes absolutely. The mechanism will still tighten against your body but not quiet as hard. I think it would also be more difficult to use the front pocket that way. Hope that helps!
Hey man! I am looking for a small comfortable bag to take all my stuff out of my pockets! Having a hard time deciding between the sling mini and venture... can you recommend 1 over the other? How is the comfort for both? What's your preference?
They are both really comfortable but I’d say if you’re transitioning from just pockets the sling mini will be perfect. The venture is wonderful but it’s almost like a small messenger than a big sling. Hope that helps!
@Jacob Totten hey mate have you had your sling already?and what your opinion ...do you think bigger is better or you are happy with this one.....I have the same issue with you ,mini or venture?
@Alexandros Roukis I have had the mini for a while and I would say it's to small! I got the venture and it's to big for edc! Lol so I ended up with the lite and feel it's a good medium between the two! The lite feels great too and is able to be small when it needs to. I would definitely recommend the lite before the mini if your like me
Thank you! The D1 is one of my all time favorite slings for the size. If you are comfortable with something a bit bigger I’m currently loving the AER city sling 2 and the bellroy venture sling, both of which are also fantastic!
Thank you! I think it would be extremely tight if you do get it in. I wasn’t able to get my 20oz L.L. Bean water bottle inside. If you have a smaller water bottle you’ll be better off. It’s an awesome day sling!
Thank you! The D1 is basically my all time favorite sling so it would be hard for me to choose any other sling over it. That being said, if you want color or a little extra space, the bellroy slings are also very high on my list.
@@DaveSam13 Thank you for the reply! I am drawn to the Bellroy (probably mini as the regular looks a little big and maybe floppy), but that D1 is nice. I’m also eyeing the Trakke Crossbody Banana Sling. Very basic, but I like the canvas and look. Decisions, decisions … Anyway, I like your style of reviews and will be watching more. Thanks again.

You are 100% correct friend. I misstated that in the review. Thanks for pointing it out and appreciate the love!
I was about to order in black, but that basalt looks choice! Loving your videos, would be great to see you review the Melbourne backpack.
Thank you! Yes this blueish one caught my eye for sure. Funny you should say that, I was just looking at it 👀
Same i was about to order the black and i ordered the basalt color. To be honest i am not a fan… this blueish grey is hard to match with my clothes. 😅
Haha that’s so true! Only denim, gray, and black basically

I was not able to find this info anywhere - could I fit my Sony WH1000XM3 in this sling, along with a pair of glasses and some other small stuff?

Will a GoPro and shorty stick fit ? Thanks
Yes almost certainly
Hi, If I put my iPhone Pro Max like 6.7 inch, will it fit in the front pocket of this mini bellroy sling?
Yeah it should. Depending on your case it may be a tight fit
@@DaveSam13 thank u so much for ur information. My phone is definitely fit! yeahh 🥰
I got the Basalt color after watching your review! Awesome review!
Thank you! It’s an awesome sling overall!
is this basalt soft ? or will it rubbing your clothes?
Thanks for the review :)
Great video. Enjoyed the chill vibes 😌
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed

Hmm I’m a big fan of the AER city sling 2. It’s one I still use regularly in my rotation.
Is it just me or is the magnetic clip on the wrong end? I wear mine wear mine on my right so the clip is sort of useless...?
Yeah I would largely agree with that. It doesn’t take away from the usage of the bag much imo though
@@DaveSam13 those were my thoughts exactly. I do find the quick release clasp useful for when I'm all tangled up in my jacket or backpack or something.
Do you find that this material breaks in and softens over time or does it stay pretty stiff?
It definitely softened over time
is that the basalt colour?
Yes yes!
Anyone got the link please for this bag? I’ve been on the site and can’t find it… I really want it

I would like to request a review of the Bobby Sling by XD Design. I'm really interested..
I took a look at it and, honestly, it’s not really my style…sorry. Thanks for watching though!
Thanks for the great video. Can put Ipad Mini 6 in any pocket?
I’d say it’s very unlikely…and thanks!
Should i buy the Basalt one or the Marine blue one
Whichever one matches your wardrobe best!
Is it also possible to wear it as a hip bag?
Yes I think you could but two things 1) the strap is fairly thin so it may be uncomfortable and 2) because the strap compress the bag, it may be counter productive because a hip bag usually needs to be a bit tighter to your body. That makes it harder to get in the bag because it’s more compressed. Hope that helps!
Does an iPad mini fit it?
I’d say unlikely but I don’t have a mini to check
Are you guys seeing the sling mini in grey too? Or did I just find out that I might be colourblind D:
Hahaha not sure. It’s like a bluish grey color
What's the length of the strap fully extended?
Ahh I wish I could help but sadly my puppy destroyed this bag shortly after this video 🙃
Thanks for the review!
Can you use it backwards? I mean, to switch the front face, will it adjust the sling the same way?
Yes absolutely. The mechanism will still tighten against your body but not quiet as hard. I think it would also be more difficult to use the front pocket that way. Hope that helps!
Great review.
Thanks!

@Jacob Totten How to you find the internal compartments in real life use on the lite?
why do i have the problem where this bag will not sit flat but it keeps wanting to flip over
🤔
Great review!
Thank you!
I like the style and the look of this, but I need to know one thing. Can a 7 inch tablet fit inside the Sling Mini?
Unlikely
what sling do you prefer? this? the wandrd D1? other? Awesome reviews you make!

Can I put sun glasses with a case with out dammaging it? Wallet , cellphone, power bank, keys and a lot more small things
Yes I’d say so. You may have to put the sunglasses in the main compartment to accommodate the case though. Otherwise I used it in a similar fashion
Great video! Recently ordered the exact same sling. Do you think a 20 oz hydro flask will fit with room for other items?

Which would be overall smaller, the wandrd d1 or the bellroy sling mini? I'm trying to find the most compact option.
Thanks
