She was so gentle, so kind, so compassionate, so in touch with reality and so down-to-earth. We didn't deserve her. Maybe that's why she was taken from us so soon, because she was too good for this world. 😭

I think she was just resenting her old material. The whole reason for her trip to London, where she eventually died, was to discuss a new album. She looks unenthusiastic because she was, but only at what she was singing, not her career. She had plans, and that makes her death worse.

She was about to move into another house in Ireland that she bought a short time before she died. It's a real shame. She changed very little physically and none at all in her magical voice. Hurts to the point of tears knowing she'd be gone in just 31 days. It's hard to watch this because of that. It's quite evident that she is not at her best here as other commenters have observed.

Long time alcoholism took it's toll. Someone close to me was a long time alcoholic it's remarkable the changes that I saw. Alcoholism can happen to anyone it's a medical illness. The person I knew she grew up very shy and timid with a low self esteem. She said Alcohol fixed all that for her she became what she wanted to be.
I had never seen this clip, and to be honest it is heartbreaking. Lifeless, spark-less, there in body only, going through the motions. So sad! I say this from a place of compassion. I liked her as a person a lot. Never seemed at all self-impressed. Wonder just what brought her so low. Wish I could have helped her. I think she may have believed in Jesus as her Savior from what I've heard. If so I have hope.

What you mean? Most of times people who suicide don’t show signs of any depression at all and is hard to diagnose. I know of someone who suicided and no one had any ideas he was depressed. He hugged his parents good bye and as his parents left the house he chugged a bunch of pills and sat in the garage with his car running. Some people don’t want to stay in this world any longer and they feel like they have no meaning to life anymore.
She's a home-made musician, that's for sure. Great artist, but can barely sing live, unfortunately. This sounds like a bar karaoke, including the dance performance. Nevertheless, thanks for the beautiful songs, Dolores. They were really something back in the 90's.
Dolores was amazing live as witnessed by Roses Deluxe which has performances live in Madrid, and also in the rare cuts from Everybody Else is Doing It so Why Can't We, and To The Faithful Departed deluxe version. Maybe she was just having an off day here vocally, because she was fantastic live. Nothing homemade about her talent and that beautiful angelic voice of hers.
Dolores's voice was amazing, she was just off in this performance. The last album released after she passed on, In The End has some incredible vocals by Dolores. Songs she was working on before her tragic passing, it is stunningly brilliant and hauntingly beautiful. We shouldn't judge others so harshly, you never know what someone is going through. RIP, Dolores, miss your beautiful voice.
