What is an enzyme, how does it work, and why has it turned brown/yellowish after cleaning the stain?
What is the Enzyme, and how it works?
The pet owner asks why the stain I took out with a cleansing product containing Enzyme turned brownish/yellowish?

The main question is, why does the Enzyme (cleaning product that I purchased from the pet store remove the stain in the Showtime, and later the color resurfaces as a yellowish-brown? Why?
By shaking the cleaning product that we purchase from the pet store, we notice the suds pouring from the bottle; this can tell us the product in the container contain soap.
The label promises us to carry away the toughest stains and the odor more digging and reading more. This product is biodegradable; if we didn't convince enough to buy it, the manufacturer guarantees your money back.
After we cleaned the pee stains, 2 to 3 weeks, we discovered the paint resurfaced: yellowish, brownish color.
Second attempt to clean the spot and the result, fantastic everything comes off, make us believe the product is working.
The stain resurfaces after 2-3 weeks; this time, the dyes are more significant; most of us believe the product is not doing the job the right way, the customer goes back to the store and purchases a different cleaning product.
This time the customer used more product to saturate the area quickly and even vacuum the carpet with a Shop-Vac, the stain gone.
Reality 2-3 weeks later, the stain resurfaces again; we at PetPeePee company name the stain as "Houdini stains."
The interrogative sentence is, why why why?
Here's the simple answer.
The dog or the cat pee pees on the rug. The cleaning product that we used contains soap! By cleaning the Pee-pee stain with the soap without the ability to remove, rain's, was the solvent and the pee-pee entirely from the carpet, the combining of the soap and the Pee Pee will form with a new strain, we call it "PeePeeShoap."
The PeePeeShoap will attract the bacteria that grow in the urine Crystal and the oil from the soap.
The new yellow-brown stain is mildew! That will become permanent stains in the fiber.

In my experience. this happens because people don;t do enough thorough cleaning after the enzyme is worked in the fibers, padding, backing, what have you. We bought a house years ago that had dog and probably cat pee smell in the carpets. We tried steam cleaning, baking soda solutions, vinegar & water solutions, all but probably a quarter of the carpet in our main bedroom was fixed. We then bought a concentrated commercial enzyme cleaner. We poured it over the area, rubbed it into the carpet real good. Let sit for maybe 10-15 minutes. Then used our carpet machine to suck up any remaining enzyme cleaner, along with the cleaning solution made for the carpet cleaner, Worked wonders, and saved us from replacing carpet on a house we just bought. Sometimes it not about what you use, but how you use it.
Whatever you do some remaining of the enzyme, bacteria will remain in the carpet, because enzyme contain soap, soap, and PP become PP soap, and it will remain in the carpet for long long time. Thank you for watching my video. Thank you.

Bacteria mixed with a soapy detergent it's supposed to work between 120 to 135°. The bacteria can work perfectly if you are having the perfect condition; if not, this soap will take effect and will deliver later a yellow-brownish stain thank you, Meir Martin

I sent my oriental carpet to this well known carpet cleaning company whom said they’d be able to get rid of the urine smell, but no guarantee on on the stain removal. And I said that’s fine because you can’t see the stain but smell the urine, anywho they brought back the carpet a week later and it still smells like dog pee, they made an excuse so I sent it back and they brought again a week later and it still smells like urine, so when asked the guy says we can’t guarantee the odour being removed, wtf. And he has the audacity to say stain and odour are the same. I wish a company like your existed where I live

Soap works on dirt and most food, some made for oils. Bottom line there is no universal cleaner.

Hi, IICRC Certified carpet cleaning technician here. If you look for stain removal treatments in store, stay away from anything with hydrogen peroxide/oxiclean or anything with color boosting like resolve.
1. Peroxide (an oxidizing bleach) does breakdown stains, but if not rinsed properly (spray with a bottle of water and blot up with clean rag for several minutes) , can also break down carpet dyes. Meaning if you ever end up having a professional clean your carpet/rug, there's a chance of leaving a bleach spot.
2. Color boosters, or Optic Brightners also contain oxidizing bleach and has the same problems listed above.

Wait. Confused here. You trash all existing products on the market, then promote your own. Yet, you say nothing about how your product works. Or did I blink and miss it? You mention something about your product tasting bitter "like the Dead Sea." So are we to assume your "special mix" is just water mixed with "Dead Sea" salt (which can be bought in bulk on Amazon), or is there some other "magical" ingredient? If you are tasting it, then it's probably very simple and harmless ingredients that anyone could mix up. So you probably won't reveal what those are, I'm guessing (except on the label after purchasing as required by law, but by then it's too late). So if I understand you correctly, you ask viewers to not use mass market products backed by reputable companies or to use scientifically known remedies, such as enzyme solutions, which actually eat the bacteria which removes the smell permanently. And instead are want viewers to trust *you* a random rug cleaner on the internet hawking an unknown product, and with no description of its ingredients or how it works other than to say...it works by "the magic of the Dead Sea"??

You do know that the enzymes are created by bacteria, and then when you use them, you are essentially putting other bacteria that create the enzymes in your rug? I mean it’s fairly new science, but many people and animals have issues with enzymes, and while they are deemed “safe” It doesn’t mean long term they are. So one can only imagine after using them, and they have done their work, one should really be killing those bacteria and removing them somehow, so essentially it’s a bit like the woman who swallowed a spider to get rid of the fly, nursery story.
So he doesn’t sell products, only a service, and he’s entitled to do that, he doesn’t owe you anything.
