The Phaserunner is made for full size e-bikes, and can produce plenty of torque if the motor is up to it. Twisting the throttle at 20mph will put you on your back if you're careless. In terms of speed, I've done 45mph on 52v batteries, and a friend has done over 50mph with a 48 volt battery. Something seems off on the settings. If you want you can send me the settings file and I'd be glad to diagnose it.
Your not going to get any faster if you didnt up the amps on your controller. The battery is capable of 60a discharge so you can turn controller up to 60a. If you left it the same as with other battery trn your speed wont change.

what do you think the weight of the entire bike when you add the 40ah battery?
