Not sure if you’ll see this comment, BUT I’m case you do, I’m curious (mil spouse here) how you categorized items for example what stuff did you put in the duffel bag, foot locker/tuff box, gray colored tote?? I’m just trying to decide on a grouping system and interested in how you divided things up in the basement area (other than differentiating between your stuff and your husband’s gear).

thank you for this! my husband just joined the military last year and it is already an over abundance of stuff and to make matters worse it is just all spread out in what was supposed to be a guest room 😭

i was 4 when i went to Vilseck in 2011. fast forward to 2021, I'm starting to get a plan to go back to someplace in Germany. I live in the states currently. I went to Vilseck due to my father being in the Army ( I don't know why I had to go to Germany, but I loved it) 10/10 would travel again, as a native to the united states!

New Subscriber here:). Your video came up in my UA-cam feed and I loved your video. I am looking forward to watching more of your content. I love to visit Vilseck as it brings back so many memories. I was stationed in Schweinfurt but went to Graf/Vilseck often for training/field. To this day I still travel to Germany at least twice a year, I just can't get enough lol. I was last in Germany in July 2021 and my family and I wi be visiting in the near future. I love it there in Germany. I have a channel about Germany as well and I love to post my travels :). Thanks for posting this awesome video.:)

Are you sure that those cats are strays? I'm from the Netherlands and Germany is pretty similar in culture. Most people just let their cats walk outside on their own whenever the cats want to go outside. I think I even saw a collar on that last cat.

You have so much gear! I just bought some new fitness gear, and now I’m realizing I have nowhere to put it. I definitely have to clean and organize like you have. Cleaning really does get overwhelming at times.

I didn't realize how much gear you would have being in the military. You HAVE to be super organized to manage all of that. One of my favorite tricks for regular organizing is using clear bins that you can see what it in them & LABELS! I love labels.

Phew I feel you on not finishing and coming back another day. Just looking at all of this I’m overwhelmed. But you really got the space organized. Lol at every bug in Germany has went to that room to die.

I relate to this struggle. Sometimes it just feels like too much, but it usually gets worse before it gets better and everything comes together. Thank you for sharing your struggles!
