@@fhdar4521 Because this particular mishkaki is being sold outside the Upanga Jamatkhana! I would focus on Central Jail if it was infront of that too. So to be honest, I would rather comment on the things that unite us.... eg food than the ones that can divide us eg Religion, Caste, Culture and Social Status! Pls bro/sis - whatever you are coz you have kept your identity a secret (dunno why though), rise above these petty divisive thoughts and realise that Tanzania is a secular country where all religions live together in peace.... nobody sees any religion as dominant coz we respect all religions equally. However, you missed the point of this video - it was about the delicious mishkaki and the Jamatkhana was used as a landmark to point out the location only.
...and by the way... maybe you meant UPUUZI when you typed OPUZI.... but no worries, I understood your point.... hope you would understand what the video is about 😂

@@Sangita-f3e I remember those days. We also used to go swimming there especially on Sundays. And there used to be Simba Grill where we would go to eat sometime but mostly we had chips by the poolside! Best days!!!

Great seeing these videos from 2021 of Odeon round about and Naaz restaurant .I left in 1967 and haven't been able to get back.But my memory recollections are or Odeon cinema and I used to live in Ladwa building diagonally opposite to Odeon. I also remember of Zanibar Hotel , "Akhado" ,Tanganyika press Askari statue etc and there was R tea room opposite our building and Purnima hotel round the corner from us and many more memories flooding back from my childhood thanks to your videos Altaf........KC

good memories i saw katula street, i used to have a friend of mine he lived at kaluta street flats but he passsed away years ago so sad, margot was a night club very famous in dar back then, i left dar in 2000 january to USA then visited back dar in 2020 for the first time after 20 years, i love this place
i lived at fire flats (morogoro road) and i used passed these areas everyday to school at Bunge Primary School, so i know these areas so well, odeon cinema, empress, empire, avalon, cameo, starlight all these are movies theatre, enjoyed alot movies back then, thank you very much for good memories...

Perfert location in front of JK. I used to eat street Mishkaki for 1 Shilling, Dengu and spicy Kerri in that area. Brings back memories.
