Bottom bass for 2 years here! Don't know how, but over those two years, my scoliosis degree went from 14°, to 6°. My pediatrician was astounded as well.
That why I designed a carbon fiber set of six packs tenors at 8.5 lbs. To save your back.
Those drums are 30% of my body weight

I’m missing something. Maybe I need to slow it down. Many of them look the same to me. Jump, to the side, jump, to the other side. There were many that seemed to just do that. What am I missing? Is there a tutorial of each one? I’m a middle aged overweight man. This looks interesting to me. I need something new to learn to help me move more. I’m hoping that this is it. Is there a tutorial series or an app that anyone uses and likes?

Yes. They are extremely heavy! Snare here. Another event never thought of is all of the parades....for MILES! On top of rehearsing and practicing for field marching and everything else. Oh my help us all on competition week......

What rope do u use man?
@@Vishy4u I use a beaded rope with 5” handles for freestyle tricks, and a PVC speed rope for double unders/multi combos. Both ropes are available on my website linked in the description! 😄
It’s either your lack of technique, or your inability to execute it that messes you up. I mean roll stepping everywhere in life off the field probably not a great way to go about life, so exercise some brain power. But largely you’re right, it falls to the program, to teach the technique these members require for success, and to train them in a way so that they can execute it at all, a failure on either front puts your members in danger of injury short and long term.

To everyone down here saying all marching band is is walking, you have no idea what you're talking about. In order for you to argue its not a sport you need to know what you're talking about, and you clearly don't. The reason it looks easy from far away is the reason it's so difficult to do. Ballet dancing isn't easy, I can't do it. But it looks easy, they look so graceful. All they do is stand on their toes right?! That's the equivalent of your comments. Dci has been around for decades, and every single person that has participated has worked too hard for your salty ignorant comments.
Pick it up, toss a cold 7 and catch it on the hooks 😂 (Also not me literally screeching at my high schoolers for back-lifting all day long 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼)
