Yes that was incredible! Umbria was so beautiful and everything felt so comfortable and easy. The countryside in Italy is still authentically real. We are in Australia now and I’m missing Italy😊. Everything was affordable too! Florence, Venice , I would pass on but Rome is worth it for a few days.

Omg that was too funny 😂 He kept rattling on about the Atlantic 🤣🤣 We made it to Australia! Wow what a long haul from Rome! We were both literally exhausted and we both have never felt so jet lagged. I can’t imagine living here, knowing that if you wanted to go away - every flight would be brutal. We are in the Yarro Valley on a Truffle farm with two labs. 😊It’s a great place to relax. Groceries are the most expensive that we have come across yet. I am missing Italy but keeping an open mind. Saluteh 🍷😊

Hey thanks for watching for taking the time to comment. The couple we sat for were British with Italian residency. They are now giving up their Italian residency and spending 6+ in Malta and making themselves a Maltese residency. I fell in love with Italy and maybe under 6 months is the way to go? Cheers, Jill

Hello to you in Newfoundland! Yeah the magic is in the countryside and the small towns. Florence and Venice are completely ruined. Rome was more enjoyable but honestly the small towns in Umbria were so magical. Life felt easy and relaxing. The pet sitting has been a game changer to travel for us. We are now in Australia currently and 95% of our stays are pet sitting. The homes are just so beautiful and we are spoiled for choice. Thanks! Everywhere we go - anywhere and everywhere the costs are less than Canada. Even in Europe. Randy had a lot of dental work done in Cabo and it was a fraction of what it is in Canada. Hospitals, dental is falling further and further behind in Canada. Cheers, Jill

Yes it’s my type of lifestyle and living.I think I’m a country girl at heart. I like some of the simpler things in life. Lots of good pizzas here, red wine, land and 3 adorable corgi’s. - what more could a girl need! We head to Rome next for 3 days, I’m sure it will be quite touristy but I will try to find the hidden gems. Then to Australia 🇦🇺 😊 Have you been to Australia ?

You are right! When we first arrived in Mexico, we did go to Walmart it’s what we knew and it takes time to get to know an area. After some time we explored so many markets. The markets are great! I really like Mexico City, its dynamic. Randy golf’s -so we were looking at Cabo. Cabo is just too expensive now. Not sure where we will end up - we are loving Italy right now. Certainly is. We are in Umbria now and it’s gorgeous! We are near Todi and Gruitti and our pet set is beyond spectacular! Wowzaa! It’s everything I thought Italy would feel like. I was in Italy 20 years ago and Florence was not like that! It made me feel sad to see it like this. Quite honestly, I couldn’t wait to leave. I will do a video on the our latest pet with 3. Corgi’s. The owners of this place are taking residency in Malta and then 5 months here. They chose Malta for tax purposes. Interesting people. Anyways - thanks for the feedback! Cheers, Jill

Ha ha yes probably! The Canadian dollar is even worse!!! Umbria is a breath of fresh air! It’s everything that you would imagine Italy to be like! We went a small town called Todi and it is so beautiful here. Our pet stay was in the most gorgeous luxurious castle in Umbria- the best part is that we stayed for free! We have had the pleasure of looking after 3 little corgi’s in exchange for our stay. We will have a video out soon about our stay and Umbria . @@kellingtonlink956 Yes I had visited it before and it was not anything like this! The museums were just gross with lineups and crowds . We are now in Umbria and it is all that you imagine Italy to be like and feel like. It’s truly beautiful and special. We went to some medieval towns and hardly any tourist. What we have found is that country side offers a more authentic experience. I absolutely love France too.

🤣🤣🤣 Yes probably! We just loved Scotland and can’t wait to come back and travel through the Highlands. My parents were from UK but I actually prefer Scotland. Sometimes when Scottish people talk fast the rhythm catches us but still the best place!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Yes! I don’t miss the monthly bill routine of owning a home and all the other taxes that go with it. The property asset with property taxes and maintenance cost, Hydro, gas bills, internet bills. Car ; ( cost cost + insurance and maintenance ) Now we stay in beautiful homes around the world for free and hire a car when and if we need one. Life is good 👍

These relatively ‘small’ expenses can certainly add up. I agree with all you points.

I totally get that! We have really enjoyed the UK and feel so comfortable here. I could see us spending more time here. I’m curious to see how it feels in Italy- there seems to be many expats there. We are pet sitting for some Brits in Umbria. It’s been nice not to have the language struggle … although sometimes in Scotland .. I had a hard time understanding them 🤣 Thanks again for watching ! Greece a few weeks ago and back to Morocco in November ( 24c ) only 50 pounds return . and direct . amazing deals here . we seem to be doing every 6 weeks going away for a week or so. good luck in Italy

I guess you can tell I love dogs🐾🐾 Texa had a great massage and what a sweet little dog! I guess I am a little unique😊Maybe it was dairy farm upbringing that taught me about some of the simplicities in life and kept me balanced and thrifty. As much as I loved and lived in fashion - I believe in not wasting. I tend to stick to the classics, it never disappoints. Adventure,, challenge, curiosity keeps me in moving. It's like a gentle nudge from the universe reminding me that the "butterfly effect" of life is always in motion. Isn't that a beautiful thing? Italy on the weekend! No it’s very easy! When we have applied we get every sit. New sits come up everyday. Set where you would like to go/ then your dates. Apply as soon as it comes in. I also have been through every continent liking places and putting them on my favourites - so when they do come up we get notified- we got the place in Italy that way. 98% hours of our stays have been with pet sits since July. We could easily stay in the UK and never need a house. 🤣 Lots in Australia too

I could agree with with you more! We went to Malaysia last year and it was phenomenal! I was so impressed! We went to the Prince Court Hospital. Everyone spoke English and it made our hospitals in Canada look like 3rd world countries! Please let us know how your check up goes and your experience! We are probably going to do our in Bangkok or go back to KL again.

Yes! 🙌 I absolutely loved it! CDMX really surprised me. We were there in March and the weather was absolutely perfect. The jacaranda trees were in full bloom. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I love that it’s so dog friendly too!

Hi there, I have two sons 32 and 27. Like you finding it hard to get ahead. My one son makes really good money but spends it as fast as he makes it. My younger son works in landscaping and is a saver and he actually financially way ahead of his brother. We have met so many young people working overseas for and getting paid in Euros and US dollars. Some have been retrained so that they can work overseas and the training does not take too long. Randy is working on a video about money / Canada / etc because it’s really upsetting to us to see the direction Canada is going. The government is creating everyone into slaves through debt. Home ownership is the biggest trap.
