The only comments I have really gotten from anyone is that the braces look good and that having them makes me more attractive because it shows I take care of myself. Other than that I haven’t really gotten many comments about it! It’s mostly me making comments and pointing stuff out haha

Well, welcome to the club! My biggest piece of advice is just making sure you keep your mouth super clean and if something is bothering your mouth definitely let them know while you’re there because it’ll get worse quickly! Like poking wires and stuff like that! And then, of course, making sure you don’t miss any appointments because that pushes your treatment plan back!

For me, it was Oliver continuously chewing my retainer up. My mom hated me 😅 those things are expensive to replace.

Yeah, and I definitely support some of the things that they talked about. I think it’s more, so just the certain content creators that I found, the way that they talked about women I kind of took it personal lol But yeah, I definitely hope so, and that’s definitely part of the struggle. Meeting somebody, I mean since I work from home and all my coworkers work from home, none of them really live in the same states and most of my coworkers are like older. Haha and most of my friends really just party on the weekends or stay home like me. I hope that I meet somebody organically during one of my. “ solo dates” I think that would be ideal. I hate random dating lol I don’t think I’ll ever be able to use dating apps again 🤷🏽‍♀️ But for now, I’m just gonna focus on preparing for this surgery and then after that, I’ll try dating again. It’s been something that I wanted since I was a kid which is kind of crazy! But truly, you have no idea how much your kind words motivate me and mean to me! That’s how I felt! And doing a little reset definitely helped me feel like I have it together haha I do not enjoy cleaning. But I try really hard to stay on top of it! But it’s also OK to rest sometimes because it is hard work! Especially a deep cleaning, man that’ll take you out!! And I was really scared when I got locked out! I’m so thankful my neighbor came down!!

Yeah, it’s a very difficult decision to make. That’s why I also took me a really long time to move forward with it! I still feel kind of goofy sometimes since I have braces and I’m going to be 30 soon, but I think it definitely helped boost my confidence at least a little bit 🤷🏽‍♀️ and yes, I am on the Reddit forums! The people there are so informative. And that right there, being able to take a full bite out of a pizza or a burger or a sandwich. I cannot wait for that!
