    The turbines convert the unconscious libido into usable energy. Maybe the turbines are a metaphor for a psychological system that collects and converts the power of emanating God into a new world source of energy that will revitalize the life on earth.

    Thank you very much @RobertsWisdom for this... these videos are unexpected treats! What I take from this is that gaining consciousness in whatever form, while wonderful has a shadow side of robbing us of our naivety (to be "thrown out of Garden of Eden" as Dr. Johnson says) and leaves a feeling of emptiness/loneliness. Here are some quotes by Jung I think that refer to this: "There's no coming to consciousness without pain"... "No tree, it is said, can grow to heaven unless its roots reach down to hell". How do we overcome this? Is the solution through AI (Active Imagination!) as suggested in the previous video about Eyes and Ears of God? (On another note, I wonder what Dr. Johnson would think of the recent advances in the 'other AI' and the perils for humanity... I imagine he would be concerned).

    I am curious if Robert faced periods analogous to the two or three stages of the dark night of the soul described by John of the Cross? Or other drawn out states of loss of meaning or ego-death during his latter half of life? I am new to him and haven't read anything yet, but deeply moved by the presence, authenticity and tangible innocence and mercy. I get this 'saintly' feeling about him and such rare individuals usually haven't emerged there without intense fire and purification.

    • @RobertsWisdom
      @RobertsWisdom 2 місяці тому

      Robert survived a prolonged deep dark night of the soul that lasted a very long time. I don't think he completely emerged until he was in his fifties when he was finally able to come to terms with the meaning he saw in his suffering and the suffering of others. He was at peace in his later life though "ego death" was not part of the equation for him. He taught the ego was necessary but needed to be in balance and not in control.

      @@RobertsWisdom Thank you for providing this information. It means much to me without going into details. Yes, the "ego death" never sat well with me in theory. Some, like Paul Brunton, chosed to say that it is the identification processes with the ego in the mind that dies. Looking forward to follow this channel.

    Thank you for this testimony; it is so necessary. Thank you for sharing. As our society advances technologically and materially, it increasingly faces what Robert calls the Fisher King wound. This wound symbolizes an inner fracture, a spiritual void that modernity fails to fill. The paradox here is striking: the more we progress in scientific knowledge, technology, and material comfort, the more we seem to drift away from our spiritual and emotional center. The fracture in the collective psyche mentioned stems from an unceasing pursuit of external progress, while internal, spiritual, and emotional needs remain unfulfilled. Jung himself warned against the dangers of a hyper-rational society that neglects the unconscious. From this perspective, we have reached a point where humanity has achieved an unprecedented level of material consciousness, but at a cost. The need for deeper meaning, for a return to the sacred, is felt more urgently than ever.

      I've read a few of his books but sometimes I wonder just because Carl Jung told him don't ever get married did Robert choose to live more in solitude because Jung told him that when he met in Switzerland don't ever get married. What about girlfriends and healthy intimacy? Did he miss all that or just didn't have a need for it after experiencing his NDE. I mean I've read owning your own shadow. Almost all of inner work. He, Transformation and my main question is Robert A Johnson books are they a practical guide to the path of individuation which makes you more whole higher self? Any help please

    In a funny way, these videos always make me cry. It's not necessarily about their philosophical value, which is definitely there, and which is probably, the best of everything I've been in touch with, but about the feeling: it's the closest feel I can get of God/Spirit blended into humanness. Watching Robert I can feel both the raw pain and beauty of the human condition, which he, so compassionately and courageously continuously choses to experience. Apparently, he fully mastered the balance between heaven and earth... It's always a delight to see the notification for a new video! Thank you, Russ!

    An event happened in my life at the age of 10. I am 47 now. Pretty much until age 35 or so, I saw it a terrible experience. In later years, more and more I understand that it was "the event" that constellated (for reasons that I might understand later when I die), the path for my development as a human being in this incarnation. I can relate to this experience that Dr Johnson shares. Experiences like this, when they happen to a human when so young, create a lot of light and a lot of darkness, which is a perfect stage for development and understanding of the inner and outer world dynamics.
