@@timjulou7753 hi and nothing wrong with ships gear just we use the harbour cranes more now but still rely on ships some of the time. MHCs load at a much faster rate 🤙

@@PeterMorris-rn4sd I’m sure one of those motorised grabs is still here but not used. We have moved away from wires now and have these mobile harbour cranes plus MLG grabs that work from a ship crane 🤙

@@ZamDir-mh2gi hi and good question. Of course a small amount of rubbing with the chains but very little in the way of damage. It works surprisingly well and can throw it on quick with the right team 🤙

We have a simulator here for these and other machines but being in the seat of an actual machine is way different

@@daibach999 No problem, it was question only out of curiosity😉 We are using wire rope slings for loading same cargo and we are considering to use chains as well.

@@daibach999 in our company have LHM 250 liebherr crane 2006 models In port so they are dismental but they are stoped last 12 years and we don't have this electric drawings if you can helps please

Our normal ships hold about 42-43,000 tonnes of logs but we have 7 hold ships that take about 63,000 tonnes. Loading a 42,000 now
