Thanks for the extra length video, and for going back to 4k (the 360p was hard to watch). I also liked the real-time portions. All good, Dai!
It’s hard to keep everyone happy in what they prefer but trying 😜 also yes 4K is great but takes so long to download and time is not what I’ve got lots of. I will keep trying thanks 🤙
Toujours aussi génial vos vidéos 👍😍
Merci, j'essaie de faire des choses un peu différentes, mais difficile de plaire à tout le monde 😜🤙
Thanks! Log king
You're welcome!
Thanks for taking the time too share with us. Who or what dictates or decides whether you use ships crane or big Leib's. cheers.
I think that happens at the top when it comes to who is paying for what 🤣 we still use ships cranes but it’s all depending $$$$
❤👍
Thanks hope you subscribe I will be making another on last ship we loaded soon 👌
Always a good video Dai. Are the crane controls similar to the diggers or completely different.
Very similar to diggers. I will have to put that in one of the videos.
Boom and slew on left, hook and open/close grab on right.
Is it riskier for on deck loading or below deck loadings?
For the crane op it’s riskier under deck as we are unable to see much but riskier for digger op on deck due to sliding overboard when fully loaded 🤙
Curious is there a camera on the grapple to help you with accuracy?
Good question and the answer is a simple one. No camera on the grab. We have one at the top of the boom which shakes around making things a bit awkward. Takes a bit of time to adjust to different depths in the boat when unable to see
@@daibach999 Thanks for responding. It’s got to be a challenge to get the hang of.
