Casablanca didn't "have a desire for each member to release a solo album". It was a response to put a band aid on the over inflated egos of each member in an attempt to stop the band from imploding.

Good job!! It's so nice to hear someone with a brain. Every other ranking of Beatles albums are so lame. They all say the same thing. I don't understand the total lack of respect for Beatles For Sale/Beatles 65 from everyone. I understand it from a 1964 perspective but from looking back, that album is absolutely one of the best albums. This is their 1st concept album. The performances are tight and filled with energy. Looking backwards from 2025, hindsight is 20/20. Unfortunately everyone that ranks Beatles albums doesn't do their homework. George Harrison hated the Beatles live recordings of them in Hamburg and he didn't want the album released. These OFFICIAL releases of the copy songs are much better than the older recordings. Beatles For Sale/Beatles 65 is a concept album for what it represents. Those marvelous official remakes on Beatles For Sale/Beatles 65 show off the beginnings of the Beatles. Rock n Roll Music, Kansas City, Honey Don't, Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby are incredibly strong performances vocally and musically. The originals pay tribute to their present and paves the way for Rubber Soul. Once again Thank you for your ranking and being different.

Shout at the Devil and Too Fast for Love will always be my favorites. The album with Corabi on vocals was pretty good too. The rest is pretty awful to downright garbage.

Don’t get me wrong I love the band but the albums have progressed into metal (especially with Back From the Dead) and I’m just not the biggest fan of that. Their debut and sophomore albums are my favorite and I can listen to on repeat. They are seriously amazing but I’m slowly losing interest in the band when they keep releasing very heavy albums. I loved the 80s feel of that first one. I would rank the albums in order from release with there debut being my favorite and so on

I agree with host. Been a KISS fan since the beginning, and this is probably there worst album. Don’t hate it but most tracks are musically confusing.

I love this video. Mainly because I only agree with you on two or three songs. Some are even favourites to me. But when I hear your motivation I’m like ‘Yeah, I hear you. I even agree with you on some points.’ I would have added other songs. Probably the whole Sonic Boom and Monster albums too. The only Kiss albums I never bought. I love the eighties Kiss, but they definitely were kings in putting fillers in the albums too. But the really great songs stand out. Cool video!

Yeah i would love to see the the pro shot N.Y s.i.r animalize 84 rehearsals with mark ,yes it exits and also includes a 2 hour interview with paul from a t.v company and a bit of the production rehearsals with the riser platform going up and down like the animalize vid as well ,some pooch still has it and full fridays rehearsals with a very young Blakie lawless playing aces black custom while talking to ace in between the recording that day.

Gene and Paul didn’t know how good Eric and Bruce made them sound. Both are excellent musicians, creative when needed and kept things in the pocket/ groove when necessary. Bruce was extremely tasty with his solos. Very well written songs on this one

Weird question, but for Tokyo ‘77, the footage looks like it’s shot on film rather than the more widely known taped version. Where did you get that footage, because I’m a sucker for 70s Kiss on film

Kiss sold out their fans in the 80's and 2002 and beyond. They are not above reproach and fans that hold them as infallible shouldn't be taken seriously. Aces first solo album has some amazing and crappy stuff on it. The Elder is shit. It doesn't mean all the songs are bad. But WTF? They thought they could do no wrong. They did wrong.

I was a KISS fan since 1976 when I was 5 years old, and I will proudly admit that Music from the Elder is to this day my favorite KISS album of all time!!! I didn't care too much for any of their releases after Animalized, and I listen to The Elder album quite frequently to this day!!! My personal opinion... epic masterpiece!!! I don't care what anybody thinks, or whatever ridiculous ratings it received.

Yea Buddy ! Rocket Ride is cool . I loved this shit as a kid,and the occasional mid life crisis but now with all the shit between these guys (saw them in '96 or so-great. couldn't hear for 3 days) They really make me sick. something slimey here.

You need to fact vheck your sources. Ive seen 3 different interviews with him that he ssays for the 1 st album. He used a gibson firebird with only one pick up . Same model that Clapton used on a Cream live album.
