Too true about the intimidating tech issues. I've decided I'm more likely to post when things are easy for me so I keep my set up super simple. Hopefully the right people find it, no matter that it's not full of fancy edits. :)

Oh gosh, it does change things. I find myself thinking about how could I tell better stories. How can I film and edit to show my work better? I’m also thinking about how I share work in every stage - it’s been such a creative spark.

Great idea. It's important to show younger artists that the journey lasts a lifetime, and this will give community to the 40+ artists. I'm 39, started in traditional, changed to digital for work, and am returning to traditional media for personal work. Never a dull moment! Being an artist is a life of reinvention.

I just turned 40 and I feel stuck... I just restarted my art parctice but I find it hard to find the energy to keep up. SO my main focus is in finding ways to keep my energy levels up :)

Dear fairy brother!! So lovely to see you once again! My health needed a break from the internet and social media so I have been laying low, but now I'm back. I have decided to no longer have internet at home and it actually allows my mind and body more rest and space ... I feel that I can easier develop my interests, like writing and music and mecklace making if I do not have limitless access to the internet all the time. One of my favorite TV shows ever is The Torkelssons, first season from the nineties. I loved the dreamy atmosphere of that show... They made our daily life feel poetic.... My favorite TV show recently is The Curse, with Emma Stone - funny, serious, disturbing, the whole package! But I miss the days when I was young and everyone couldn't wait for the next episode of All In The Family or M*A*S*H or The Carol Burnett Show. Of course, can anything beat a New Year's Day marathon of The Honeymooners... I think not!

I am grateful, because this is the first time I am able to comment for a few months, due to my braille-screen-thing. Well, it needed to be updated. Inspiring as always! I'll definitely be more 'present' as I walk my neighborhood looking for inspiration. When I walk with Liz, she's always stopping to take pictures of various trees and plants. As for me, I only just stop for bakeries. 🤣🤣🤣
