hey Colintheuk great group metal detecting , nice finds and good friends , you can't go wrong ( BIG thumbs up from Alaska )
Thanks keithie6 ,your right it's a great group of friends will post more vids soon.
The kind of stuff you are finding is a good sign that there are more good and better things to come out of the ground. I subscribed and can't wait to see what else you pull out of the ground. T-Hawk
Great hunt guys New sub from Scotland Happy digging
Way to live dig that William silver !!!
Keep the vids coming there great.
Nice video Colin. Love those coffee pot weights. I will try to mind my P's and Q's next time.
The only thing better than metal detecting, is metal dectecting with friends :-)
Digging Canuck the dogs were great kept us entertained all day they were very happy as long as you were throwing the ball for them
So we were detecting at Hunwick. Remember the code of silence. From a fellow club member.
It's lovely to see the church from above in the surrounding countryside. Thank you for posting it.
Dobré video. Ale nevadí vám že chodíte po osetém poli? U nás v České republice bychom si připadali špatně.
Just acquired a 6mxi, could you advise me as to setting it up and ground balancing for my 1st time out on a field next week please !!!. Thank you, Alan.
Discrimination just bellow 4 most of the coke and rubish will come in with a mid tone good stuff high tone as in video, try all signals both ways. dig everythig your first few times out till you understand what signals are
Thank you Colin, very much appreciated. Regards, Alan.
Helpful video, thank you. How deep are your finds please , i have a 3MX at the moment and i'm looking for more depth, plus ease of use. Thank you.
on pasture about 6 to 8 inches on a copper coin
Thank you for that.
Some farmers let you dig even if seeded. .. Some let you on when crops are on.
On grass they some times let you on..
Nice footage of my favourite raptor. They may not be the most attractive species, but you won't beat 'em for a bit of action! Fantastic shot on flickr - difficult enough to snap one in flight let alone hitting its prey!... well done Colin! I saw one on the hunt on my local patch a few days ago.
Yeah show us us ya bit
if you set it higher than 4 you will loose items in the low conductivty area items like gold and cut halves especialy if they are deeper.
I have also ben using an explorer 2 for 6 years but have been using this more as its more enjoyable and lite
Some do as long as you put them back the right way up
nice vid. I use a Minelab machine but have a cs6mxi as well. Brilliant detector once you learn the sounds. I have started using it more and more as its more comfortable and lighter than my ML. Keep the vids coming!!
That denarius at around 3:20 was a Diadumenian emperor - nice find
Good job Mr.Cliff, well done!
farmers lets you dig up his seedlings...strange
ive hurd really bad comment's im seeing ppl using 6 discrim is there a error on the fault cause 6 sounds high out of 8
how much would u say a gold roman coin is worth
Very funny. Ace 250 since you ask.
Just wondering if there are any spaces for new members of the club. I live in Northallerton.
I'L let her know it was very worn
the worn silver coin is a mark anthony roman silver denarius galley type i found one last year.
Nice to see a bit of gold, great video.
From the land of the Bluenose.....amn that is awesome. Glad you found a date. Continued gud hunting!
Quality.
That's awesome the last one makes me laugh
LMAO
Adobe after effects and some plugins, crashes sometimes
Good hunt, i have started a metal detecting club that is just online at the moment just people taking about what they have found, putting pic' on, why don't you came and join, if you on Facebook and put search in for Grimsby Vikings Metal Detecting Club and I will add you, if you have any friends that would be interested I add them to if they come ask on Facebook
Lovely
just hope that you gave the farmer half the value of the coins?
From the land of the Bluenose.....just catching up on some of the older vids and really enjoy the Uk and surrounding area ones. On my yearly visit for 2 weeks however still get white knuckles from being a passenger in a car on the wrong side of the road. Continued gus digging youz!
@drew7473 that is so cool!!!!!.the only foreign coin's i find here are Canadian..h.h
Congratulations Elaine, that is a beautiful George II Guinea
@saintpaddydaybride In the early stages, subjectively speaking, instead of minting smaller issues of coinage to form denominations, people 'cut' the existing coinage in half, thus halving the face value. I hope this helps
@drew7473 I have found one. Right near an American Airbase
I thought I was the only one making huge holes in the ground! It is very encouraging!!! Thanks.
because oil and water don't mix!
