Theres a game very similar to this on Steam but where the fort itself is destructable. Edit: Oh its just called Forts. But the story of this game seems a lot better

hey man no offense but the reason the guns dont feel impactful to you is because your airship designs arent efficient at all (btw with direct command you can target specific locations on enemy ships) good review tho 💙💙

I kind of disagree on your criticisms of nonlethal play and some of the map design. You seem a little too focused on having designated containers to dump unconscious bodies, when oftentimes bathrooms, dark alleys, or some of the empty buildings you complain about are perfect for them. Playing non-lethally is especially beneficial if you are trying to fully stealth a level, as luring enemies is easier and safer if there aren’t bloodstains around. An example is knocking out one or two guys in a building, hiding their bodies in the bathroom, then turning out a light so the guy patrolling outside comes to investigate. If there are bloodstains on the floor when the guy comes in, he may follow them to the bodies and put other guards on alert, instead of going down a path where it’s easy to take him out with a door bash or something. There’s also situations where you might have to time taking a guy out because another guy is patrolling, and knocking him out and dragging him away means you don’t leave a bloodstain to alert the patrolling guard, though apparently the second game may throw a kink in that because guards may investigate missing guards apparently. Going back to the empty buildings, they also play more of a role if things do go loud because they give you other places to hide or lose enemies. I’d also argue some of the aimless wandering could be considered exploration, and finding out where you’re supposed to go is, at least for myself, part of the fun.

best part of the game is when you learn simply trolling enemy defences having fully charge shield? shoot one small projectile and well timed omega shot behind it to perfectlx pass enemy shield, works with flaks too

When I was like ten or so I played hide and seek with a friend, it was late at night so in one round I had this crazy idea of just laying down in this small, dark spot. She couldn't find me until she surrendered. That rush of adrenalin every time she went near me but didn't see me was amazing, and I've only felt like that again when playing Intravenous. (Ok maybe it's not that great but still)

Redcon is a great game, though basilisk spam works way to well

You should review Nova Drift, it's like Galaga got brought into the 21st century with 2 axis free movement and a massive weapons tree and a ton of enemy variety. Plus a banger soundtrack. Also the dev is the kind of guy to see an utterly broken mechanic or glitch that the players are exploiting - and just say "Oh dear, what a terrible issue. If only this were a PvP game, then I would be obligated to fix this immediately ; ) " which is pretty cool after coming from other games with sucky devs.

Curtis Schweitzer did the soundtrack for this game, showing that he is not a one hit wonder after absolutely knocking Starbound out of the park a few years back.
