You’re trolling if you don’t rush t2 boots on Teemo dude. You’re literally giving up lane pressure from minutes 3-10 in far too many matchups. Renekton, fiora, irelia, Darius, even garen with t2 vs a Teemo with blasting wand is an auto-lose. Greeding for an earlier powerspike is an inconsistent strategy, but you’ll probably win with it due to other factors in the game that aren’t reliable: such as your opponent fucking up drastically before you do

Thanks Alan, really nice video, and I like how every single one of your rune gets meticulously adapted even when you're facing the same champion (in the video, to times a Ksante), it makes me think farther away than just the matchup on how to get the right runes and not go on a blind autopilot mode with your spreadsheet under my eyes!

Completely depends on the matchup. Some champs you need boots in order to deal with things like Sett or Darius or Aatrox.

Teemo player have low iq :)

Ok, great and all. But that tahm kench was playing waay too passively. Every tahm kench I play against is super aggressive. I can’t even get close to my minions without him bouncing on me, licking me, eating me and throwing me back up into the turret. I have absolutely no way of fighting back. This tahm kench was just bad 😂 Like, why tf is he licking the minions?? He can auto them and lick YOU. And even when he tries to lick you he misses. As a teemo main there’s absolutely no way of winning a decent tahm kench player

Hi Alan, love your videos. Watching you helped me climb from Silver to Diamond last year. The thing I love most about your channel is your huge collection of matchup videos, which really helped me figure out how to play against champs like Aatrox, Jax, and Olaf. Now with the new season, how do you feel about the item builds for Teemo? I've personally been struggling to play into champs like Darius, Olaf, and Mordekaiser, now that options like the 1v1 duelist style of Nashors + RIftmaker or defensive rush items (Seeker's Armguard/QSS) are no longer really are good option. Teemo's builds this season feel a lot more constrained, where we're kind of forced to rush Liandry's + Malignance (or some small variation with Nashor's or Blackfire). Let me know what you think! Maybe I'm just bad? (lol) But really awesome to see you uploading again. Long form commentary videos are a great idea, I'd love to see you get into the nitty gritty details of each game you play.

Thoughts on first strike for shroom build? especially for support teemo or do you think dark harvest would still be better?

Currently playing Teemo jungle in masters with Comet after i played Harvest for a long time. My Harvest dmg was on average around the number of Cheap Shot - so far Comet has outnumbered Cheap Shot by 1.1x to almost 2x in some games. Later on it procs 2 or sometimes 3 times in a single teamfight. So far i don't have enough games with Comet though to be sure it's better. Really depends how much potential you have to stack Harvest obviously.

Glad you got a job you're liking! that must be such a relief. Totally agree on the stacking DH thing on toplane, farm them dshield narbs and flip it around and use them to scale up. I feel like even if lane goes well it can take too long to 1v1 some of the toplaners later on so it's best suit up to target other laners. And yea those ADC's are slippery for the auto's! Malignance still claps tho. Thanks for testing this stuff out. I always tell people Teemo is GOAT and some crazy guy named Alan got the toppest ranks with Teemo, so never give up. You ever try boots3-4 pot into like dshield users as a way to like save money or is it overkill? Are full boots rush still best bang 4 buck? I was also trying like fleet + Q max to make ppl like say uhh Sett miss a ton of CS and force use their abilities on the wave but IDK probably unnecessary playstyle it was funny tho it was only in diamond mmr.

Isnt blackfire torch overkill if you already have Malignance though

Backfire torch stack with Liandrys?

hey thanks for the input! I wanna know what secondary runes? since absorb life got nerfed is it worth it? or is presence of mind better again? and if none of those, alacrity or haste? i would prefer coup de grace + alacrity, because cut down in current meta unless they pick 2 tanks seems kinda bad and last stand with this squishy build also would not be that good, but idk. maybe also sorcerer when you need to kite like aatrox matchup, going for celerity and gathering storm? wish a great rest of your weekend.

Some stuff that I didnt mention - With Absord life and Taste of blood your lane is actually pretty safe (a lot of sustain) so you dont get punished for a greedy rune choice as much as before

Nice work. I main teemo in mid and I love keeping the enemy laner under tower and just poking them till I can Q than ignite them. 😊. They never get just how much his poison hurts.
