So true , every word is gold
Nice and easy but I heard that somewhere there is a case that the thief stolen the exhaust pipe from the bike. Any idea to prevent that? By key lock or welding pipe permanently.😅
you could try replacing some of the hardware with security bolts. Or make them all different. The thief would have to carry 4 different types of sockets to take it off
SC Project
good video. I'd recommend not using air to try to drain out more oil, use some fresh oil since youll have over half quart extra to flush out first. A lot of people have dirty, wet air in their air compressors. Also a micrometer at the chain tightening step makes it so alignment is perfect too. About to do the first service on my 2024 black zx6r also
very good point. my compressor is new and drained daily, but I never thought of dirty wet air on older compressors. Never thought of using a micrometer. I'll definitely start using that tool for chain adjustment now.
@@MaxamillionEd thats badass man cool to see someone receptive! Looks like you do great work keep it up
2024 zx6r
Can you send me pls the link for this akraprovic exhaust model thank you!
Is there anything internally ECU/O2 Sensor related that you have to mess with after putting on a slip on? Like does a check engine light come on?
No. You don't need anything sensor related. it's just install and enjoy
What bike did your cousin have? Cause I got to take my test in my ninja 500
If I lower the handle, I think I'll cross the bump and reach the upper cowl and the front wheel cowl? Is there any problem?
the lower you go the more you haver to be careful around speed bumps. you have to go at an angle up a steep hill
Power to weight ratio, understand it.
ak-rah-poh-vic hurt my ears 😭
The c v rs are heavier and a little less power
mine does 118 mp/h
how much do you weigh if I may ask
@@sid3874380kg
127lbs
nice bike
i recently bought this bike and it has around 1700 miles now but it is backfiring fully stock only thing down was first oil change at 603 miles
Is there a loss of power?
I'm from India nice exaust buy me link plz
Full system, the Akra's king. But 90% of the 400/500 riders in my city go with the LV because they're cheaper and louder!
100% agree
Do they make you take it with a manual bike? Just asking because I will be using my dads but it’s an auto
It doesn’t matter if automatic or manual. What matters is the size of the engine that determines the class of bikes you can ride
Cool content..
Nice and simple, Ed! 🙌🏾 I’ve got a Leo Vincé 🤌🏾 exhaust on my 1100 Monster. Best sound in the world! I like this sound better than the Akrapovič exhausts.
Cool, sounds awesome
Is it supposed to come with a mounting bracket/brace? I don’t seem to have one
yes. if it doesn't then ask your seller if they sell it separately
@@MaxamillionEd thanks for the video and reply they it helped.
Very satisfied not having to hear your annoying voice in this one. 10/10
Just messing with you... check the audio
Excellent video
I always knew 401k is a scam. My employees just said the company hasent matched anything in 11 months. Everything is a friggin scam
is the ninja 400 akrapovic exhaust good for the ninja 500 too?
Yes it is
hey bro i would buy this exhaust too for my ninja 500, where can i buy it?
I sell Leo vince
What type kind of LeoVince is that? I looked up one on revzilla that looks like exactly the same one but it says it doesnt fit the 500
Or does it still fit anyways
All 400 exhausts fit on the 500. I tested it. Same diameter pipe.
I get the same results, it's probably because it's just newer and hasn't been listed with the other exhausts.
Yes. Yes it is.
Great video! I’ve got a 200mm shorty can on mine! Flames, Pops and Louder sounds always win!
I'm 5'4 only one of my feet can touch the ground 😮 I have the Ducati 1000
Made my install super easy! Appreciate what you do homie! 🔥💪
Glad I could help
wtf, you used electrical tape to pinch up his clip ons....fuck.
Yes. It works and I’ve never had an issue. There’s a 2mm taper the farther you go down the forks
Not sire if its just me but i think it sounded better with the baffle. Awesome video either way!
I think the same haha!
I rode the bike and I prefer the baffle on as well
Baffle’s in on the Akra on my 500 🫡 Plus, you lose power on the 500 if you take the baffle out.
does it affect gas consumption changing the slip on exhaust?
It’s negligible.
The only way you can do cones is if you know how to ride the rear brake and feature clutch and throttle control. I have put off my test for nearly a full year! Test is SO STUPID compared to reality. When in god's name do you weave cones? Tiny u turns? Maybe at gas station. Pretty much as stupid as car test. Makes no sense, but here we are.
Dukey in a bad mood
Is it legal to remove the baffle in Georgia? If yes, in what states is it illegal?
Nearly every state has a sound related law. The laws exist but are rarely enforced with the exception of the large metropolitan areas such as San Francisco and New York City. However, most people can agree that loud pipes save lives. If they don't see you, at least you can ride easy that they can hear you.
Hey legend, just found your channel...any other super powerful bikes for us vertically challenged fellas?
Yes the bmw s1k, the Yamaha r1, the gsxr1000. I’ve got them all lined up for lowering tutorials
@@MaxamillionEd Love your channel bro. I did a marathon watch last night !
@@Lord_Ranon I appreciate the love. I enjoy making the videos
Looks more aggressive
If I wanted to lower my r7 four inches, would it be good and any recommendations for different pegs to avoid scratching on corners? (Just for a daily drive to work and back)
All pegs are the same length. What you want are adjustable rearsets so that you can raise the pegs farther off the ground. If you lean aggressively you’ll risk scraping the pegs the more you lower the bike
Should try the yoshi at2 slip on next
Stand by
I’m waiting on that video so I can make a decision between the akrapovic & the yoshimura
@@MaxamillionEddo you happen to know if you make a full system exhaust change. Will it break warranty on the bike? & it will need a new tune correct?
@@camacdav000 it will not break warranty especially a slip on. It’s actually illegal for a dealer to void your warranty for changing your exhaust out. Now if you rev bomb then engine well into redline you will cause damage to your engine and they can figure that out.
@@MaxamillionEd okay, so it doesn’t void with a full system neither correct? Because then I would really buy a full system spend the couple hundred more than just the slip on. & will I need to tune the bike? Or it’s not necessary?
cool info Eddie
Where did you purchase it
I sell them
how much for the exhaust?
$530
That chain is too tight
1.2-1.6 inches is within spec.
Try balance the audio next time it’s all coming through the left channel for headphones
Oh wow I didn’t realize! I’ll definitely make sure to check that out. Thanks for letting me know! I just checked the setting in the wireless mic and it was recording on one channel
Perfect video for those new to bikes and looking to tinker with them a little bit.
It’s why I make these videos. I appreciate the kind words
Can you do the same on the 390adv.
I would just need to get my hands on that bike and I can do it
Looks like the adjustable kickstand is not exactly the same since you had to use a different spring, correct? Where did you get the spring? What tool did you use to get the spring off? Or do you have recommendations for an R7 specific one? T-rex seems to be perpetually out of stock.
I’m going to make an update on this tutorial seeing as trex stopped producing this kit. I used a spring hook tool. It’s like a big T handle with a hook on it to pull springs off
@@MaxamillionEd Thanks! I'll keep an eye out for the updates. How long did it take you to do this?
@@MaxamillionEd I just got done lowering mine. Your video was very helpful. I’m wondering how you came to determining the front should be lowered 1” for a 2” rear drop?
