Checked out a couple of new solenoids (Autozone and O’Reollys) but I was able to blow air through both of them right out of the box. Is there a specific part number I should be looking for from these places??? Probably will just order one through ZZPerformance.

Automatics are good when done right. Wish the newer versions would implement a faster shifting automatic like a dual clutch system

Old video I know but a couple of questions: 1) I see you put very little coolant before it starts coming out the nipple--the manual says the capacity of the system is over 9 quarts--did you already fill the rest, or were you just topping off here? "Coolant refill" to me says an empty radiator at least. 2) I see you're not using Dex Cool--is there a reason for that? Everything I've read including the owner's manual says to only use Dex Cool

The GM engine is the way to go. I wish Polaris didn't put the Polaris engine in the Slingshot.

Any videos on replacing the coolant or temperature sensor. Mine fluctuate from a # such ad 175⁰ to ---. When it shows ---, my A/C cuts off, until the correct temp shows.

It's a great video for gearheads, for sure. With that little difference in the ¼ mile, what I'd prefer to know is stats on reliability, braking upgrades, safety performance & maintenance costs. I like the speed stats just for general standing around talking to people but as a potential owner, what most will want to know is, is that engine better than the EcoTech? I've heard yes, but some real and further detail would be great for the average owner.

Polaris had to make it available in Automatic .....missing alot of potential customers that don't know how to drive a stick.....or those who don't care to......In my opinion the GM is a proven engine and you give up very little.....and I would not even consider an automatic version.

I watch this video and found it to be a big help. I had an issue with my Redline was producing cold air from the heater and the engine temperatures not going above 189 witch is uncharacteristic of this vehicle. I changed the thermostat and was getting an overheating issue. I burped the system but still had air in the system. I watched this video but also called the number in the video. The gentleman I spoke to was very kind and reassured me the over heating issue was due to air. It followed the video and the vehicle is back to normal. I can’t begin to say enough about the gentleman! Thanks again! You are awesome!

Hey guys. I was just checking your stuff out because the new rzr pro r has a new variation of the 2.0. I see the sling shot has 11.5 to 1 compression and the rzr motor has 12 to 1. I hope you all will figure out a kit to turbo the new RZR's. You will make a killing. So can you give me your thoughts on what it would take to build a kit for the rzr? Would you reduce the boost or add a thicker copper head gasket to possibly drop the compression a tad? Thanks.

Ok I just changed the coolant in my NA Pontiac solstice. Seen your video, tried it and it worked. At first I tried a different way by forcing air into air tank and pinching off different hoses, that didn’t work. Your video did. Thanks!

For a Saturn sky 2008 2.4 liter is it located in the same spot as on your Solstice

Well, just an FYI...on my 2008 SKY it is on the back of the engine. I had trouble getting it off so I loosened the passenger side cowl, too off the wiper blade and was able to access it. Then the damn thing would not come off the bracket. Got a length of fuel line and I will hook that up and give it the blow test. From there.......gotta figure out how to remove it. Or just put the new one in and zip tie it to the old one.
