cutting out Marvin talking about how if you wait around long enough the barren planet will have people build doors so that he can open one for you and the use of Marvin's washers to act as coinage on the viewing telescope to see the message is a loss, Marvin's about being eternally put upon and used by others while being totally unable to do anything about it - even now at the last moments of his life, he's willing to wait a few millennia for people to come along and build a door for him to have open or to have his arm ripped off and part of his body removed so he can see the message. And the most important part, he's all spare parts except for the diodes down his left side that have been causing him nothing but pain for the entireity of the last 37 sextillion years. Shame really.

Honestly this feels like an Adult Swim show from the early 2010s, i know people usually say early 2000s but this feels more like 2010s and i don't know why but it does. Like it only ever had two seasons amd ended, not cause it was bad (but it was) but that's all the creator had to write even he was unable to stretch it out as long as they could with all Pot and Anti Depressant they most likely had.

I don't think you can beat Norm's real face and his expressions when telling this joke to Conan.

Just brilliant, great animation job! According to Conan, he asked Norm to stay for another 7 minute segment and Norm didn’t have anything else to talk about, so in front of millions of viewers he did this, and stretched out a silly joke into a masterful and sad Chekhov inspired drama that filled the time in a fashion only Norm could pull off. Genius….RIP Norm.
