As long as your she completed the DS-3025 medical exam within one year of you filing the I-485, you don't have to do the I-693 medical exam again because she already did it in her home country to get the K-1 visa. ​@veritasimmigrationlawp.a.7501 we are also a K1 Visa applying for adjustment of status. On the I693 question 4 is checked if had a medical exam. Then it says complete parts 1-5, 7 and 10. Step seven requires a civil surgeons certification. How do I do this unless I repeate a exam??

Here's some guidance regarding the I-693 medical exam process: If you are applying for Adjustment of Status as a K-1 visa holder, USCIS generally allows you to use the medical exam completed overseas with your K-1 visa application if: The medical exam was completed less than one year before you filed your Form I-485, AND There are no grounds of inadmissibility based on health-related conditions that arose after your entry into the United States. That's correct. We mentioned that in this video. For example, K-1 adjustment of status applicants will generally not be required to do another medical exam because they already completed their medical exam abroad (as long as its within one year of doing the adjustment of status).

To adjust status through your mother, you would generally need to be under 21 years old and for your mother to be a U.S. citizen. Since she is a green card holder, adjustment of status is unlikely to be an option. However, this doesn't mean you can't pursue a green card; other options may be available to you. Totally agree! I think this was a tactic the Officer was using to try and see if the traveler was hiding anything. If you notice, the Officer said about 3 or 4 times, "Why are you nervous?" "you look nervous" and "well, you are nervous." I think it's an interrogation technique to force the other person into a defensive posture and see if they reveal information.
