The thing that kind of scares me about Grand Design is that you've been into the center three times already and you've only been on the road just a bit over a year... It doesn't sound like these 5th wheels are meant for full-time living.

They were honest enough to say that they had done something. With the bathroom and fridge issues, were those warranty issues or things you found? Yeah, that seems about right. Honestly I probably would have taken more things out and Alex would have said, we only going to be gone 2 days😅😅 with all of the "info" out there about GD, I'm glad y'all spoke about your experience.

I think a lot of the reported problems with customer service at these rv companies comes from unreasonable expectations of customers, often set by their own advertising. Then the dealership in the middle, which is supposed to be the first line contact, usually drops the ball anyway. Having most of my experience dealing with commercial warranties which tend to be a heavy lift on a good day, my expectations are always set at zero. Usually more trouble than they're worth. So they will always at least meet my expectations, and any tiny good thing that happens is a win LOL. I've only had two contacts with the mfr of my camper (Alliance) that were ok. They met expectations, but did not do anything extraordinary enough for me to gush over, or ever claim to be a customer for life. Unless I die while I still own this one ;)

Quality customer service should always be the rule, not the exception. However, there is still a good case for acknowledging good service when it is delivered. Kudos to Grand Design and continued safe, happy travels, Duane and Belinda.👍🏾💙🤍❤️🙏🏾
