Loved this video. I live in Concord and worked in this facility in 1965-66 when it was Cannon Mills Plant 6. Cannon is known world-wide for its textiles (towels, sheets and upholstery). If you come back to this area, be sure to visit Kannapolis, NC where Cannon’s main plant and main offices were located. It is now home to the North Carolina Research Center. This is a very interesting historical area.
Very nice! I'm enjoying watching these videos where you are catching up. I follow several UA-camrs, mainly just learning. One that I found today was Sycamore Lodge, just outside of Pinehurst in Jackson Springs, NC. It was very pretty. I've always loved the Pinehurst area. He had a membership & it may have been layered with another. It cost him $10 @ night for his 5th wheel. Thought that was interesting. As your kids are in Charlotte, I thought about it being a good stopping place. I'm learning so much about life on the road, traveling, and discovering new places. Living vicariously through the UA-cam travelers currently. Brings a lot of happiness. Thanks for putting in all of the effort to be great content creators.
Wow, this look like a very relaxing place, with good food and company, what more can you ask for, hopefully we can meet up one day before our Lord Jesus rapture us home.
Yes, even if you're more into camping with hookups than boondocking, being solar and battery powered is becoming more necessary as the climate warms increasingly, and those hot spells last longer each year.
