Sorry they didn't turn out to your taste. If you did want to shorten, metal zipper teeth can be pried off (they're kind of clamped on). You just want to try to keep the tape they're attached to intact.

I tried this pattern once but never finished it lol😅. This video is really making me want to revisit it. Especially knowing now I might need to lengthen the top part Yours came out really well!

So cute I've been itching to make a leather skirt thanks for the extra push.

I saw a video stating that if you cut the pants an inch outside of the cutting line, it will give you an extra 4 inches around, and is like having added insurance to help with the fit as it is easier to take them in and make them smaller. That is what I did with this particular pair of pants since I didn't feel like pulling out the measuring tape to measure myself against the pattern's measurements (gained a few pounds for sure). Once cut, I pinned and basted the seams together until I got the fit that I liked, then proceeded to sew. I hope this tip helps.

Can you give some tips for working with Peachskin such as type of thread used, stitch length, and if you recommend straight stitch or small zigzag to prevent fabric puckering, especially on side seams. Thank you!
