You got this! 😊 i got faith in you! I find making corsets and difficult projects very satisfying, even if they fail because then I get to try again after I learned from my mistakes
I got you! So let me explain, when you sew your zipper, both the corset fabric and the zipper are sewn rights side together. The wrong side of the zipper should be facing you and the teeth should be facing away from the edge. The raw edge of the corset and zipper tape are your new edge that you sew your lining to. So ignore the zipper and stitch the lining to that edge of the corset like it’s a normal edge at I think 3/8 inch, not sewing into the teeth, sandwiching the zipper tape between the outside fabric and lining. But when you flip it out through the lining hole, the zipper teeth should flip out as well. Hope that makes sense. If not, let me know! 😊 good luck!
Thank you for making this sew along, am just about to start this pattern and your alternations will be very helpful for me.
@@emmamuddiman-rawlins8136 no problem! I hope everything turns out well for you! 😊

I can't figure out what I did wrong on step 10 (~ 5 mins into the video). I sewed all the edges and my zipper ended up on the inside. LOL. Help!
