If you have a large house with high power bills, want induction instead of a gas stove, plan to live in your house for a long time, and want to insure power in weather disasters, solar with storage battery makes sense. It's the disaster possibility that would be the main reason for me.
True. This was a 1000 year event. I feel like a we get a really bad weather event in some form about every 10-15 years 🤷🏻♀️
Spartanburg has a rich history with NASCAR and there is a UA-cam video about it called The Town NASCAR Forgot. The Talladega Raceway was originally going to be built in Spartanburg and there is a UA-cam video about the Spartanburg-Talladega connection.
Thanks! Got some more Spartanburg videos coming out as I learn more about the area! We have a driving video coming out in a few weeks and the homes were so historic and beautiful!! 😍
Starting to plan our trip for next yr. To come back to see you all and check out more of the area our visit in September was messed because of hurricane can’t wait
Yay!! 😁
I enjoyed your video, but wish you showed where each neighborhood was on a Map. Can't seem to find them through google maps.
Thanks for letting me know! This is an older video and have maps in the newer videos. Did you see anything that maybe I can offer a little more info on?
Heat lol😂hold my beer,I'm from Tampa
lol! Yeah. We have a few people from Arizona that watch these videos and laugh too. They’ve had 90-100 temps just in the past week. 🫣😅
Some folks are leaving Greenville because it has become crowded and expensive compared to what it used to be. But those who pretend Woodruff road is comparable to big city traffic jams has apparently only experienced actual big city traffic jams from the comfort of their couch as they watched them on TV. Woodruff road is crowded for about 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday and then for a bout 1 1/2 hours in the morning and a little less than that on weekday afternoons. But it's still not even Charlotte or Atlanta crowded at it's worst. But a lot of people for some reason go to Costco at 2 PM on Saturday and then complain about the traffic. It's sort of like going to the hottest breakfast place at 10 AM on Saturday or Sunday morning and then complaining there was a long wait. It's open from 6 AM to 3 PM but you wanted a scrambled egg at 10 so you wait. That's your fault. Now, if you love a swinging night life scene Greenville probably isn't the place for you. If you want almost all of the convenience and amenities of a large city without the large city crowds, despite what the 80 year residents who remember corn fields on Woodruff road say, then Greenville is still a great place to be. Sure, you will still have to head out of state to buy your Ferrari or shop at Neiman Marcus but it's a sacrifice one must make, right? But seriously, folks, can we ever just say a city wasn't for me and leave it at that rather than pretending that because we didn't love it this automatically makes it a hell hole for everyone else? Or if we love a place that automatically makes it heaven for everyone else.
The 360 degree feature is really cool. Glad you mentioned it in the beginning.
#Aubree_gets_us! 🥇😎👍
Great video, Aubrey! Glad to see Spartanburg get some recognition. There’s a lot of growth happening in the city and county. I was actually one of the construction managers that worked on the Spartanburg Courthouse which is shown under construction at 7:21. My wife and I just bought a home for our family in Vanderbilt Hills. Big, beautiful homes just 7 minutes from Downtown. You can actually see the Denys building from parts of our neighborhood! Spartanburg is doing a fantastic job connecting neighborhoods to the city with walking trails. Perhaps you could do a video on all the green spaces and trails Spartanburg is adding, like the Saluda Grade and the Danial Morgan Trail System. We love walking around our cul-de-sacs and soon our neighborhood will be within walking distance to the new baseball field, downtown, and many of the neighborhood’s you mentioned in your video!
Wow! Thank you so much! 😊 great ideas!
Simpsonville is a hidden gem imo. I got a house here and it is very convenient to get to many places, but there's a lot to do here as well.
Yes! Agreed!
Fantastic video Aubree!! We are so excited to be moving into Pinestone 🎉
Hey aubree❤eric
Hey Eric! Good morning ☀️
Thanks a lot aubree❤eric love your live💐🕊️🙏
What are the upgrades though of the first house?
Are there any strip clubs around here?
No idea.
I was there 2 hours and left, wasn't very impressed with Greenville. Run of the mill town. I rather be at the beaches
Ok
Do you have any strip clubs?
That pantry needs its own video and separate real estate listing. That thing is a Manhattan apartment!
I agree!! My friend renovated that for them when they moved into the house. It’s amazing!!
Is it city water and sewer?
Which place specifically?
@@aubree_lewis sorry Boiling springs
I’ll have to check! I know it’s definitely on city water but I’m not sure about sewer.
Boiling Springs!!
Yes!!!
The Cuban sandwich is not there anymore. They went out of business filed bankruptcy over a year ago. I was here today Saturday 10-19-2024. I ended up finding out they added a Burger Joint In their Spot. I ended up getting Asian 10 out of 10 General Tso Chicken and lo mein.
Correct! Maybe we should do an update video for Cartwright! :)
Aubree❤Eric be careful &goodnight
Thank you. Helpful. Appreciate it
You're welcome!
@@aubree_lewis hi Aubrey and thank you for your videos.
@@aubree_lewis I got to ask you something, are there apartments above the small businesses in the West End district?
@@aubree_lewis I want to move to the West End area. Before doing so I'm going to rent a room for a few days at Homewood and then walk around and look for apartments
@@aubree_lewis I love Farmers markets, symphony, chamber music mediterranean-type restaurants and you guys got them all looks really good
where is the Wexford neighborhood?
After you make it over crowded it won't be great anymore.
I can’t make it overcrowded.
No pickleball......disc golf!! 😂
There is that here too! I have a good friend that owns a disc golf bar/store here in Greenville! Maybe we should meet up there when you visit!
Hi again Aubree❤️Eric great live
Do they have any dildo stores?
Your causing overcrowdedness
*You’re
It’s a bunch of rednecks down there that fight chickens that don’t like black folks. I’ve been there and they stink they like from the back of the back woods.
Clemson was once called Calhoun. There still is a little downtown block; lookup Calhoun Corners. It's behind the Clemson Amtrak. Easley is great! They have an indoor playground, Prisma Health, movie theater, the doodle Trail, a new YMCA, Sam's Club, a very nice library, and the JB Owens Sports Complex. In the future, a Whataburger, Bath and Body Works, and maybe one day....a Target!
Yes!!! Need a Target!
Hey Aubree Eric becareful❤
Don't think the areas you were driving through are what is typically considered "downtown". Alot of "the hood" neighborhoods. North Main and Alta Vista are more representative of downtown Greenville
I've lived in fountain inn my entire life of 30 years. The picture at 1:40 was in my grandparents house as a child. Thank you for this.
That’s cool!
Was this before or after the hurricane? (hoping you are all well and safe there)
Before the hurricane. I’m sure it looks a little different now. 🥴
It's a shame that these videos are always done by real estate wankers trying to make a sale. Also nice clickbait title.
You may or may not like it. After 3 months I knew it had nothing for me. Work wise the pay is garbage, the cost of living isn’t great, the people are fine, they just don’t want to know you or want you here, but they’ll be polite about it. There’s crime, but it seems to be mostly in certain areas. As far as goods and services or construction, people here will hire the cheapest person even if it bites them. I’m still trying to figure out what makes them tick here, I guess family. The fishing is awful unless you don’t know any better. You need to rent here before buying, because there’s a chance I am right and you will hate it. Oh and expect to pay big time at the dmv if you bring car here, there’s a mandatory $250 fee for that plus property taxes on it then the registration. I am 100 percent va disabled and they tell you you’re tax exempt, but you have to jump through hoops, instead of them just looking at the letter of proof you have in hand. Then they deny that because you’re not 100 percent permanent and total, total bs just to seem pro veteran. I ended up paying over 2500 to register two cars and a trailer. Most people here I imagine lie about the value of these autos and trailers, but I don’t believe that is moral. Remember when you watch these videos, you’re watching a video from somebody who makes money off selling houses in that area. Is it beautiful here, yeah it pretty, in the fall and spring, winters are gloomy and cold. It’s affordable for a reason, do your due diligence or you’ll get stuck somewhere that has nothing for you.
I live near there
Would anybody happen to know who the builder was who built 143 Juniper Hill Drive?
What was the name of the new subdivision with new homes ?
Is this city water and sewer?
Most of it, yes. Some may be on septic though. That’s pretty common in the area. About a 50/50.
The funeral home sells coffee! That's really weird. Fun video. I love the map overlay and music.
Thanks! And yes, it’s a Starbucks actually 😅🫣
Why are some of the neighborhoods without sidewalks?
That’s a great question. I’ll have to ask a developer there next time I have the chance!
Hey Aubree Eric💔🇺🇸
Hey
Good video
Glad you enjoyed
I hope you have a good day ms.lewis
Greer is the best place for me
