I lived in Boise, ID and its is primarily a white city. I when I say white Boise, ID is ridiculously white. The same gentrification has taken place over there. Locals either sold and made a profit, stayed put, or got forced out because the rent went up to high. People came in and build or remodeled houses and the values more than doubled in 3 years! Another good example is Bentonville, AR. Another very white city. Look at prices of house in downtown Bentonville from 2020 and look at them now. Hold on to your hat , really, those local residence made a ridiculous amount of money selling their old run down houses off of Central Ave. NOW TIME FOR REALITY Who wants to build a house in the middle of a 400k-600k neighborhood and charge 200k for it? Will this 200k property not be subject to reassessment and then have a value greater than 200k? Of course it will. Then your taxes will go up on this "affordable" house. So then the lucky person who was able to purchase the affordable house for 200k can then turn around and sell it for 300k on the cheap and profit 100k. Affordable housing is a myth. Besides I'm surely not paying 600k for a house that sits in-between two 200k houses for the sake of being fair.

Love this concept. I also watch non-real estate walk and talk videos. Coincidentally, I had just checked out the condo Donnie referenced. The only restaurants we're interested in are Carolina BBQ (we're Low Country not Texans) and Brazilian steakhouses.

I seen the same real estate bubble when I moved out of Florida. I made a nice profit on my house and six months later the bottom dropped out. I was downsizing paid cash for my house here and had some cash left over but these prices they are getting now are over the top the bubble will burst just hope you can buy low or sell high.

Everyone moved there and it became very expensive. If you rent expect to be raked over the coals

I didn’t see down town Greenville which is one of the most beautiful cities with a river and waterfall through the city. Also beautiful Main Street with shady trees over hanging the street with nice restaurants and shops. Enjoyed the drive with you though👍🏻
