My Friend Interviews Me! Beauty, Relationships, Wellness and More
I’m in the hot seat in this reverse interview where my friend Daniela interviews me (using listener questions). I share advice for my younger self, how to meet men, whether I have a “type’, how I deal with online judgement, navigating all of the wellness information from my guests, what I won’t eat for health reasons, how friends and family feel about cosmetic work and more. This is such a fun conversation with lots of laughs and revealing info!

    Men usually cheat for physical reasons. Sexless relationships are hell for men so they look to get those needs met other places or resort to porn.

    It's really very simple, not complicated at all. People cheat because they're insecure and don't respect/love their partner. If someone truly loves someone, they would never do anything to hurt them.

    Something like 70% of relationships that begin after a divorce will fail. People believe that leaving one relationship will instantly bring happiness. That is literally seeking external validation. The unhappiness is almost always an internal struggle, not because of the partner or the relationship. Love Dr. John!

      Where do you get that from? Dr. John is one of the most humble human beings you will ever meet! Also, he’s been married 22 years (since he was in college) so I very much doubt he’s ever cheated! He has some friends that made it clear what they first met “if you ever cheat on your wife, you better hope to god she finds you before we do” so I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want those consequences either plus he’s just an amazing human. ❤️

    I completely disagree that your feelings are not telling you the truth.. when actually you’re heart will not. E deceived you can be misunderstanding your feelings because you never did the work to learn how you feel and what your feelings are actually telling you! However if your mind gets you to disregard your feelings and you are not in sync with your emotional body of course you will have bad outcomes as a result. Tap in and learn how you feel about everything and what your bod is actually saying.. It’s such a trick on use that is done to us by those who don’t want you to know how things really work ❤learn trust your heart that’s why we are here. It’s so amazing once you get the hang of listening and knowing what you’re feelings are telling you and they are always right ❤

    Nice video, I'm still struggling with the end of my 7-year relationship. My significant other, who I considered to be the love of my life, left me a month ago, and I can't seem to shake the constant thoughts of him. Despite my efforts to bring him back into my life, nothing has worked, and I feel frustrated and hopeless. I've tried to move on, but my heart still longs for her, and I don't see myself with anyone else. I apologize for sharing this here, but I just can't seem to stop missing him.

    Well that last part about the whole online dating part of "you min the good stuff" I guess for all the time John has spent on his show, he has not seen anything from the passport broos movement across America! Many men INCLUDING ME literally FOUND all the good stuff through online dating because we never found anyone in America! Also yes depending on the app the dating app can be VERY shallow and superficial. But like everything the apps are tools. Some tools are better then others and also it depends on all the ways you know a tool can be used for good. So get on a good app that does not have bad AI so to speak. Then you win! Check out apps like SALT and Cupid Media apps! Also Filipeno Cupid is where I found my now wife! I guess John sadly see mostly the negative side of dating and marriage. I have noticed that about people in his position like cops for example. Some things are very negative and it makes sense because of who and what you deal with at your job. But just YT search and TikToc and social media search the word PASSPORT BROS! Many amazing stories of people actually finding the "good stuff" that John talks about starting online!

    People just get bored, are unfulfilled in their own life, think the grass will be greener, give up and then divorce. If you get bored in one marriage and can’t stick it through, whose to say it won’t happen again? Why don’t you try new hobbies with your partner and date each other again? It’s mainly women that do this …. 80%+ of divorces are started by women … That should say something.

    Ooof when he said the thing about he asking his wife to make a syllubus of herself, I started tearing up. Because I had the same thought “what if my spouse doesn’t like me if he knew everything about me or all that I enjoyed”. Ugh vulnerability is scary.

    • @tundeterez
      @tundeterez 3 дні тому

      Sometimes, vulnerability is scary because that might be your body signaling to pause and rethink sharing too much. In order to survive and thrive and be free from manipulation, weaponization, or exploitation, one must not bare all. Differentiation is important, couples who are too vulnerable with each other can become enmeshed or codependent. Just like with everything - the right balance is key. So, be vulnerable but not too vulnerable, that might be healthier imo.
