In 2024 sofar, I have racked up 900 print hours on my P1S and the printer has used a total of 97kwh. Thats roughly 108w on average. Here in canada I pay roughly $0.07 USD per kwh so that year of printing amounts to a total of.... $6.79 USD Seeing how little power it takes I no longer really care about its power usage

There are a few (mostly the OG and remix) under printer storage boxes that can be printed in parts on the mini. Keeps literally everything one will need in one place.

3:40 Where is the link below for app? I don't see it How do I get the software to repeat prints shown in the video? Does anyone have the app they can send me? I don't even need the extra plates, just a way to auto send 5 or 10 parts in a row. I currently resend the print from my phone and it knocks part into a box in front of printer just fine but I need to resend from my phone or hit reprint on screen. My part is tall, skinny and vase mode. pops off easily no problem when it goes to start the next print. The only real problem is tiny purge line at front of plate. Sometimes it globs up after 5 or so prints. If there was a way to skip that line or move it back 2mm for each print I could print 30 parts in a row with no manual babysitting of the printer.

What filiment type did you use for the white caps?

My tower broke off after 11 hours into my 13 hour print! What do I do??

Do you leave all the other settings alone?

Seems like there would be some value in being able to restrict the height of the prime tower so it could be used for improving the bottom layer. Or being able to set the volume for various layer-heights. Logically, only the top/bottom shell and the walls are particularly sensitive to the lack of a prime tower. At least for the minor defects that seems to be showing up without the prime tower. Having the prime tower be more of a tree support structure would allow it to prime more for layers with a lot of external surfaces. Actually. Couldn't printing infill first be used to partially replace the prime tower as well?

You can also get flexible LED strips used in the signage industry that will conform much nicer than the ones used in this video, and is actually quite cost effective if you know where to get them locally.

Thank you for doing this experiment. I guess you need prime tower if you have multicolor first layer or want it to be perfect. For other layers underextrusion will go into the inner wall and you won't see it.
