As a beginner I recommend Boneshatter Jug. It won't do Ubers but it'll speed clear yellow maps and will get you everything up to that point. Don't play SSF, play trade league. Use a boss killer build later in the season and use what you farmed with the Jug to gear it. Boneshatter is lousy for about an hour or so, after that it becomes fun and then it becomes heaps of fun when everything just vaporizes. Getting one-shot tends to be a problem for evasion classes. Bonehatter has tons of armor, good regen and if you buy spell suppression gear and up it in your passive skill tree you're almost unkillable up to yellow maps.

I believe the odds an item will drop unique from a normal monster are roughly 1 in 400 with 0% mf; that is, 0.25% of the items will drop unique. There is a diminishing return on gains when adding magic find; in the case of a normal monster, it is not possible to reach 1%, or 1 in 100, that an item dropped will be unique, which is what 300% WOULD look like if there were no diminishing returns. let's look at the first item alphabetically, the unique aegis, from hell baal it's odds of being unique at 0% mf is 6.6%. at 100% mf, it's odds of being unique is 11.2% (this +100% mf is worth +4.6%, 4.6 is 69% (nice) of 6.6, so this is a true gain of 69%. at 200% mf, 13.9% (this +100% mf is worth +2.7%, 2.7 is 24% of 11.2. this is a true gain of 24%. at 20,000% mf, 22.5% (this +19,800 mf is worth +8.6%, 8.6 is 61% of 13.9. a true gain of 61%. note this 19,800 is worth less than the first 100, which was worth 69% (nice).) at 0%mf, the odds she drops the unique are 1:3375 at 50%mf, the odds she drops the unique are 1:2395 that 50%mf removed 30% of the runs. at 200%mf, odds are 1:1599 at 1000%mf, odds are 1:1126 that 800%mf removed 30% of the runs. 200% just is the sweet spot haha there is no need to go past that unless your kill speed is absolutely unaffected.

For bone armor usually is best to put 1 point into it and then points into bone wall because of higher yields

From the Mephisto fight I assumed it’s gonna be a pain to watch you progress, but little Monkey did quite well. Probably due to Elly’s efforts. Let’s see if Hell makes you regret going on with that build. Again, thx for suffering for us! 😅

Another nice run and video. I will say with endgame gear, poison dagger is actually pretty decent. Plague for poison nova procs, fleshripper for bosses, some trang pieces and bone runeword for some survivability...doesnt help on the playthrough of course but good luck on the hell portion.

Been playing since closed beta so I am in the 1% of the playerbase so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Imho PoE 1 is an incredibly amazing game for hardcore arpg enjoyers, and an overly complicated impossible to approach game for casual and new players. Most people have not had the luxury of learning these mechanics as they have come out. Most people also never make it past the 1000 hour mark where I consider you to finally be a noob. This game truly requires dedication to master and even at 10k hours there is still infinite more to learn and try. This is a double edged sword that many hope PoE 2 will solve. Id recommend coming back to Wreaclast to try that Dec 6th.

The absolute need for a loot filter kind of ticks me of in modern arpgs. Like why not add an auto pick-up function to completely disconnect me from what is dropping. I feel something is just wrong with the loot balance if you can't play the game without one. Same goes with the absolut need for a billion stash tabs. Last epoch had both of these issues.. Its as if players can't have fun unless the screen explodes with loot. Items are getting to complex without needing to. Im having just as fun finding a valuable item with 3 parameters as finding one with 8.
