Love your use of bright colors with everything you have made on your wall as well as the sewing mannequin. One of my fave things to do is make napkins, I made them many moons ago, now I have a better serger and I look forward to using it, I find your serging instruction interesting and informative, and I will check out your other videos.

I’m actually happy to hear you say that you are really enjoying online training, and wanting to not travel as much. Because … I soooooo love your training, and I love your live online classes, but I live in northeast Pennsylvania … so it is difficult for me to travel down to Florida whenever I want to take one of your classes. If you start doing more live online classes, I for one, will be absolutely thrilled!!!

OMG, watching this on Sunday after the Live. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the vinyl pouches. I must say, I'm a hoarder. No doubt about it. I also hoard more the more I'm stressed, so the last 4 yrs has led to crazy amounts of fabric, none of which I ready to part with yet. These pouches will really help with some organisation I'm doing. Love that I can combine sewing with organising.

Might you consider making a chatelaine to hold those items/tools needed during your classes? I’ve been wanting one to use while doing hand-work. Now I see that it might be something used in other situations. It would be much easier to find my tools during class, rather than “rooting” around in my bag or finding it on the table. Also less likely to leave items behind. Thanks for all that you do. You are an inspiration.

Thank you for this video ❤ I've got a Babylock Evolve (cover and overlock). and a Babylock coverstitch 2. Both these sew fine ❤ In addition, I've got an Elna 845 (cover and overlock). I've had a problem getting the Elna to sew coverstitch without jump stitches. I'm not sure what is wrong. Bought it as a demo machine from a shop so the needles might be wrong(?) It sews overlock fine. Buy ELx705 SUK needles and try if that fixes the issue?

The big plastic vinyl bag is great. I find when I travel it throws me off course. It's rather hard to get back to the last project.

I have that Tshirt.We went to Italy with my daughter and I made two with fabric with lemons. We use them at the Amalfi coast. Wich everything shows lemons.

Thank you Deb. Although I've sewn many hems in the round on knits I have a difficult time pulling the thread to the back even after referring to my manual. This was a great reminder of the correct way to do this. There were also many tips I will use on my next hem.

Could you do a live devoted to locking and securing stitches? You mention locking, but it remains a mystery to new users of sergers/coverstitchers

First. Love the video 💕 I Just took apart a pair of gap leggings for an alteration, they serged the elastic on the top And flipped it over twice with a cover stitch. As you can guess it took a long time to take apart. But excellent construction.

If I use the coverstitch do I need to stretch the elastic?

I use this method all the time (that I learned from you in a leggings class). It never fails; sometimes I need to replace elastic in older garments and do it this way. 😊. The zig zag finish on the sewing machine is quick and easy…match the thread and it almost disappears. Love your advice about waistband placement on pants! Adorable doggie tail there 🐶🥰
