a million | LEGO MONKIE KID animatic
i make stuff to cater to me and me specifically. and this is no exception. if you're watching this this is your sign to make the stupid thing that you've always wanted to.
i heard this audio and immediately thought of them because shadowpeach is my everything i love it so much...i know that this can also be flipped in terms of roles, where macaque is the silly haha kiss me one and wukong is the annoyed one! BUT i think that macaque would not at all joke about liking wukong because he's too proud for that, and wukong would LOOOOVEEE to annoy macaque by saying he loves him because he's a little trickster like that but yeah...
tried out a few new things with this one! i tried to make it more fluid rather than just still images and i think it's kind of cool! it's still not storyboard level, but i'm gonna keep practicing to see if i can make some more fluid cool stuff that like has ACTUAL movement. but i think this one has a lot of cool little details in expressions and movements (like how macaque's ears turn into six ears whenever he gets embarrassed i don't know i love the idea that his ears unfurl at strong emotions)
I LOVE LEGO MONKIE KID I AM SO SAD THAT I HAVEN'T DRAWN MORE STUFF ABOUT THESE GUYS YET so yeah expect more of them along with sonic the hedgehog and turtles...they're all rotating in my mind like a microwave it's actually getting bad...even though the lego monkie kid brainrot was lying dormant it only took a matter of months before it resurged and more powerful than ever...I LOVE THESE LITTLE GUYS THIS SHOW IS ACTUALLY SO GOOD it has such great writing and animation and character development and voice acting and plot and worldbuilding and story and AGHHh it might be the objectively best thing that i am obsessed with because WOW i could make thousands of analysis videos on all the little movements and actions that characters exhibit (especially in the shadowpeach department. like when they look at each other blankly when mk is talking about how 'he would never leave mei when she needs him' because they both think that the other left them when they were most vulnerable UGHGHGH they're so SAD my tragic old man yaoi is THROUGH THE ROOF)
i sure did yap a lot. ANYWay thank you so much for 1k subscribers that's actually WILD i don't even know what i'm gonna do for it but like...that means so much...i will probably make a sappy even lengthier community post about it but until then stay tuned i guess
