It's more likely that MJ stayed with nike because of the marketing machine that he was promised: the ads, the new logo etc. The fact that the new Air Jordan shoe looked sweet helped for sure. By the way: who designed the bottom of this AJ III? Cause it was shared with the other regular basketball shoe, right? Plus, the upper is a much improved evolution of AJ II, designed by Peter Moore.

After seeing Iverson wearing these for his sports illustrated shoot back in 96 or something, that's when I started looking for these.

The black cement 3s are my favorite air Jordan 3. I remember watching those commercials when I was a kid. So classic! Great video!!

I worked the whole summer of 1992 to buy those shoes in black& white (black nubuck with white leather on the sides) which was THE BEST colorway for that shoe. The black with purple nubuck on the sides was ok too. I had to get mine 1 half size small but they stretched it worked out. My all time favorite sneaker.
