I would describe myself to be a handy guy around the house, and love the out of doors. Therefore I found it easy to come up with a channel name that describes what I am about.
I will be building, fixing and creating projects that will help me to enjoy the outdoors, check back often for new videos
Enjoy!

Powering Your Off Grid Cabin: Step-by-Step Electrical Panel Installation
Electrical Panel Install - Off Grid Cabin
Welcome back to the Handy Outdoorsman!
Our goal today is to wire a generator into an electrical panel to power for an off grid cabin. We’ll be using a 30 amp, 120 volt receptacle (larger in case of later upgrade onto the grid) serviced by a 3000 watt generator.
Come along and see how we get it done, and the progress we’ve made.
Disclaimer: Please note that I am not an electrician, professional or otherwise. If you have no electrical experience, it is highly recommended that you hire a professional as this video is for entertainment purposes only.
Until the next video, thanks for watching & God bless.

Since so many machines built back in the day do not do well with the modern gas and all the ethanol they put in it. Come along as I learn how to take the carb apart, clean it and reassemble it. Nutribullet DIY Fix - Don't Throw It Away
Переглядів 110 тис.4 роки тому
Hello and welcome back to The Handy Outdoorsman! Today I’m tackling a high priority task, high priority because it was handed down from “The Mrs.“ Lol. She uses a Nutribullet daily and lately it has become difficult to operate in that one of the 3 activator tabs in the base gets stuck to the point where the blade and cup won’t fit into it properly and that prevents effective chopping/pureeing/l...

DEER SEASON 2020 Hello and welcome back! I’m thankful to be headed out this weekend to try again. The deer seem to get wiser each season, keeping me on my toes. Cheap, Simple, Effective DIY Deer Fencing

Welcome! I’m finishing up a few chores on the property. Today I’ll be putting up deer fencing around several fruit trees that we purchased this year as well as a few we planted last year. The deer have taken great liberties with the trees from last year, nibbling away at the growing shoots which can easily interfere with the future harvest, so now is the time to protect those trees as well as t...

How heavy is the carry all and how does the 8n handle it? I have the TSC carry all for my 8n and trying to decide if I should do 4’ or 5’ width.
I used 2x6 material - to heavy for my 9N. It works but puts a strain on the hydraulics. Have a 2nd tractor with much more lifting capacity - so I will keep this and build another one using 1x6 for the 9N. Thanks for watching.
You should have run the roof panels in the other direction so that the snow would slide off!!
Have gotten a ton of comments saying the same. No issues with snow collecting on the roof.
Yes great instructions, I haven’t tried it yet, but is it easier to take the blower off the tractor first?
Agreed. Thanks for watching!
Good video. I still have my 1998 Neptune and retired now and will be changing the bearings sometime. The drum still spins freely by my hand and I don't see any water leakage out the back. In fact it still looks new back there. My replacement in the mean time is a Speed Queen front loader. I've had it 10 years and I've only replaced the door lock mechanism and the front seal on it. My Neptune I think the motor control board went bad. It was doing weird things like it had a mind of its own. I have a new conversion motor and board ordered. The Speed Queen is one heavy washer. It has concrete blocks in the case to keep it from vibrating. I looked at buying a new Neptune back then but I read they were crap after Amana bought out Maytag.
Hi. Great job. Thank you for sharing. Where did u got it he siding from ? Expensive
Hello! Menards.com - can order to exact length for your project.
I’m thinking maybe a drain hole or three for when it rains. Good job!
I do not have much issue with water (the camera is design to sit outside by itself). However I do have an issue with bugs making it their home inside the case.
New bearings must be a QUALITY brand, or you will be doing this job again in a few months! Not cheap C*h*i*n*e*s*e crap like TSB, etc. Get SKF, NTN, Nachi, Timken, NSK, FAG or KOYO 6207-2RS and 6206-2RS, double sealed, with normal or C3 clearance. Beware, there's lots of fake / counterfeit brand-name bearings on e*B*a*y and A*m*a*z*o*n. If the price is too low, it's fake. Only buy from authorized bearing specialists.
try mixing you apple juice with apple cider vinegar salt pepper and garlic powder.
Sounds delicious, will do.
Drill holes in it. Put a small fan on low towards the hole this will give it more oxygen. Oxygen creates the elements you need for more heat.
I noticed that you built the structure on a concrete slab. To stop the sides from toeing out, I would recommend securing the base plate to the slab with Hilti bolts and washers. This would make the structure more secure and wind resistant. Nice job, by the way.
Good suggestion. So far no issues (knock on wood). Thanks for watching.
Ĺooks nice😊

Any idea how to fix the wheel on housing not turning. It makes a loud sound but doesn't turn the blender
@@tron3652 sounds like you need to replace the wheel assembly, could be the grips have worn down and not engaging with the blender.
Mine just stopped working, I'm going to try this. Thanks for the very detailed video! Edited to add: Just did it this morning, and it's looking and working like new! Took me about an hour b/c I'm not as handy as you are, but hey - saved me a ton of $$, the hassle of going to the store for a new one (would have taken at least an hour), and now there's one less thing in the landfill! Thanks again, much appreciated. 👏👏👏

My issue is I can't get the cup out after blending, and i don't want to throw it all out 😢
ughhh mine has the vertical auger pulley I cannot find a way to get the belt on the pulley. HELP if anyone knows. blower for an LA165 tractor
What is the model number of the blower?
Very nicely done, thanks!
Your Welcome!
Great job
Thank You
Help needed! Followed the video to replace the belt on a used snowblower. We cannot get the pulley back onto the shaft. It does not seem to have enough "play" to straighten out enough to fit over the slot. No obvious damages or obstructions. Spent a couple hours so far on it. Anyone have suggestions?
Make sure the "key" is lined up properly. It may be binding and preventing the pully from going back on.
@@thehandyoutdoorsman9014 Thanks. I'm pretty sure it's been lined up correctly but the pulley has to go in at angle to get past that guide bracket. In your video, you just jiggle the pulley a bit until it's parallel with the gear box and it goes right in. Mine gets stuck at an angle and I can't get it back onto the post.
Seems like Maytag washers and dryers break down more than other laundry top brands. My apartment building has Maytag washers and dryers and they are always breaking down.
I call bullshit
The answer is yes
Excellent... but, two of the fins on the motor cooling fan snapped off, breaking the gray plastic conical housing. I can't seem to find a replacement for the cooling fan. The other parts are available... but not that plastic cooling fan. Any idea?
Great video. Made it look so easy. Thank you!
Great video! About to do my washer in the next few days. I might have missed it, but what is the bearing Part numbers? 6207 and 6206?
Been a few years since I did this project - don't remember the part numbers. I did get my parts from www.repairclinic.com/, maybe you can type in your model and serial number to get your specific parts? Good luck and thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks, I tried "repair clinic" with no luck. I was hoping to get the bearings before I started, anyway, I will remove them them and take them to my bearing supplier.
Bearings are 6206 and 6207!
@@bobmoss9845 Thank you for posting.
Hi! Mine has a spark in the front air vents. Every time I switched the motor on. Is it normal? Or should I throw this away? I barely use this. And the product is almost 1 year only.
With out seeing it - hard to tell - you might see some light sparks due to the brushes in the motor assembly. If your not comfortable with it throw it out.
Please I need help with my nutribullet juicer,it smells like something is burning inside and is not working fine
I understand that the metal sheets oriented this way on the roof is easy to bend them on the sides where they meet the walls, however wouldn't this bad with water shedding or snow shedding? the ridges are not a good idea running like this? Otherwise the structure is really good.
@DeepSouthOverlander you are correct, this was the easiest way without putting in a different truss system
Not bad
Brother I'm here to check off a honey do 😂 thank you!
I hear you on that! 1 down 99 more to go 😏
Nice workmanship - respectable looking shed.
@@ucandoit8362 thank you, much appreciated.
Great job..but activate system is shit ..Nutri bullet are a shity device...
Hinges are backwards should be behind the wood doors, should have put metal on front of door, matching way better, other wise i like it.
I’m attempting this today as the wife said it’s stopped working
@@ndiggadee2663 good luck 👍
Every 3 yrs? Why is mine done after a year 😫
You have to tighten it up every year other wise the loose canvas is just catching every breeze.
I'm going to try this this weekend. Hopefully it works 💪
@@douglasw6474 good luck 👍
Thought about doing the same thing , but my don got me 2 big pcs of rubber roofing 10 x13 very heavy got the 1st one by fastening some pvc pipe to the rubber tied some rope to the ends of pipe & threw them over the top & pulled but the rubber didn't want to slide lot of friction not sure if this method will work for 2nd pc.
My Nutribullet stopped working a couple of years ago and it was my favourite gadget… now I have seen your video so sm thinking may be I should tackle it the way, as you did? But I am worried, as I have totally no idea how the wires inside are connected and I have no handyman in the house)))😂🤣
Thanks for the video. I found it was just one of the tabs that had broken off the cup/flask, whatever it's called, and was failing to push the switches down. However, only two of them are actually switches, so if we put the broken tab in the right position then it works fine. Cheers.
How much you charge for this job my friend.
I did mine about two years ago. I should’ve measured the shaft like you did. now at high speeds, it start to make noise again, so I wonder if I pounded the bearings and two hard sort of did the same thing you did when putting the new bearings I used the old bearings to pound in the new bearings however, at the end there was a torque rating on my sheet and I went with that for the final torque on the pulley in the back, my unit did not have that white plastic clip that goes in the tub in front of the bearing nor did I have a snap ring on the back of mine.
Thank you so much! Was able to repair my Nutribullet and get it operational again.
Awesome! and Your Welcome
Thanks your instructions helped me resolve my leaking regulator 👍👍👍
Glad the video was helpful - thanks for watching!
Where is part two?
Thank you, clear! But what for is the little opening in the holdercompartment? Where is going the fluid? It reachis the motorcompartment? Dangerous?
A small plot like that you might want to try some sorgum, that would be a treat for the deer
Thanks so much!
