What a week Sam! Well done on getting through it..... Regarding the Discovery Sport boot, it way well be the dampers, but cant help but think whether the tailgate programming may be a little askew... When you get the chance open the boot, push up manually to max height, then press and hold the boot button for around 5 seconds (you may get a sound)... Press again to close and test..... Hope next weeks proves more fruitful... All the best!

Hi Sam , seeing you buy all that stuff from Halfords must of cost a fair few quid , you should drop a quick text to Dave at the lovely car company or Joe , they have all the products you could dream of having for probably a quarter of the price none branded stuff but just as good, I appreciate long term you want to find a valeter. Your poor friend Paul was looked very stressed with the car constantly going in to limp mode for a moment didn’t think he was going to make it. You didn’t half make me laugh asking what his plans were , very none committal 🤭🤥✈️ wonder why. He will need to watch his blood pressure out there very hot!!. I loved the Jag but I appreciate it’s not to everyone’s liking , all the dealers love a Yeti suppose to be bulletproof , maybe that vehicle transporter driver thought he would catch you before milking the 🐄 cows , you were both very lucky with that tree in middle of road. Thinking back to Paul and his car sales opportunity on your doorstep , hope the Jeep passes the mot & you land lucky with getting the corrosion around hinges sorted. Sam sam sam, why are you buying valeting products from Halfords.- far too expensive. I'd love to help you out but i live up North, OR just talk to Nigel Mansell and ask him to put you a basic kit together of his quality products, be the best £100 quid you'll spend. TBH it's all about focus, hard graft and taking your time. cleaning is cleaning BUT the satisfaction is immense. KEEP GOING, you're doing a bloody good job!!!

Re Citreon C3 clutch. I use a number of these in my work and they all seem to have very high pedal bite point, so your clutch is probably fine.

I see the VW Amarok Hsrd Top on your pitch .. it's quite easy to make a stand for them with a pallet , old bits of carpet and a plank of wood .. I used to sell used Navara's , we made stands to save space and keep them off the ground

I cannot believe as a full time dealer you are buying your cleaning gear retail and piecemeal from Halfords - of all people. And for my money Autoglym is a waste of money! Turtlewax products are every bit as good and cheaper or Meguiars for top quality. Have you not heard of Jennychem trade cleaning products????? And Owatrol (from Amazon) for reviving faded plastics.

But I’ve said before don’t waste your time cleaning / valeting it’s time consuming etc. get an affordable valeter in or someone to help you generally. Flakey customers bloody pain.. wurth are doing a much more highly concentrated starmergloss products. Wheel cleaner is the best on market and arguably so are many more of the products. cost about £45 for 5 ltrs of ea but will last far longer than others as you only need small amounts. Let me know if you'd like me to set you up a trade account ;)
