At which stage do senior designers usually use autolayout? Is it right at the end of the final design or do they incorporate it as they’re designing something?
Usually as you're designing. Autolayout is to help you align things and easily move things around. You need this while you're still experimenting to help you work faster.
Please mentor me.
Can't wait, Thanks!

Waiting for new updated CV template for 2025 🎉
🚀🚀 yes 2025
Thanks for this video Tshili! It’s incredibly insightful, and I really appreciate how clearly you explained each role and responsibility. I transitioned into Product Design after six years of teaching it at the secondary level, which helped me land a Midweight role right from the start. I’ve now been working in the field for over two years and have reached the top of the salary range for my level. However, when I consider switching companies, I often hear that my salary is too high unless I move into a Senior Designer role. Even with just two years of experience, I feel I’m already taking on many of the Senior-level responsibilities you described. I’m the only Midweight on a team of five, where everyone else is a Senior Designer, and we all handle similar tasks. What advice would you give in this situation? I’d also love to join your mentorship program!
Well done for what you have achieved so far 🎉 it sounds like you should start moving into senior design. Ask your workplace to see the policy and work your way towards it. Then use that to move to another company. Yes sign up to the mailing list and i will be sending more details next week

This an outstanding graphic gesign video on how to create a good composition. Please do a video on getting clients and how to keep going when things don't work out your way as a designer. I would also like you to share your experience on the struggles someone might face when learning UI/UX and the best place to learn UI/UX. I would recommend you create an online membership website to mentor people globally because your design flow is top-notch and you keep everything simple in a layman's understanding. It means the world to me.
Thank you so much for your feedback. I will add that video idea to the list. I will be doing a free webinar soon, sign up to my mailing list to get details soon. Thank you for watching 😊

i have created 4 personal projects but i don't know how to write about Metrix rate as all of them created by me without any collaboration and testing how can I write about numbers in my resume please tell me i need to make a resume . please
@@reema6732 The only way to have data for personal projects is to do user tests for the old design and and another for the new design. I have a video on how to do tests ua-cam.com/video/EYUL0N1Fjhg/v-deo.htmlsi=DNywllTxkto9dO6p
I have 5 years as a graphic designer and 3 years as a senior product designer - I was thinking of going back to school for a Masters of Business Administration - I see a lot of product managers with MBAs and then there’s creative directors and stuff. The Question I have when it comes to mentioning the metrics on a resume is, How do we even get the information (Metrics) about how much impact we created?
@@thejas_HR if it’s a live product check the data of the platform. Ask your engineers or data team for before and after. Or use data from user tests. Compare the results of the test before and after your re-design. Ask your PM for any other data improvements like increase in revenue.

Glad it was helpful!
Something i do not understand is that we put a 8point grid then we hadd over a column system... ? so horizontally i need to ignore the 8point system right ?
Thats a good point I need to make a part 2 video. But you can also use the same grid horrizontally if you need it
for the coloring actually when i see what is done, I do not know how to manage color such a way... to get them spread and slit to get good rendering most people just do not know .. I have good eyes i can see when stuff are good but I can not build..
Its all about practice. At first it seems hard but try follow the 60/30/10 rule then over time it will get easier. And make multiple versions of the same design, one of them will be good.
Thank you.
Thank you for watching
Hi hope you are doing well, I am UX designer I have done when companies give out heavy take home assignments and after submission do not respond, some companies says your are shortlisted for next round and then no response after that. I have mostly stopped accepting design take home assignment. A whiteboard session interview is fine any short assignment is also fine . But end to and problem solving journey then document it. Provide high fidelity prototypes along with separate figma prototype link. I am sorry it is too much especially i am doing full time job at same time. Can we do something collectively to make industries understand it is not fair demand to ask.
I am sorry to hear that. Yes I agree its not fair on us to be doing this much free work, especially when the day to day work is probably not that difficult. Other job roles like nursing our accounting dont have to do tests like this. Unfortunately as its a bad job market companies have more control.
