Hey, this is Autophile. Welcome to the channel, and thanks for tuning in. This is a preview of DIY remote auto folding ORVMs in Ford Figo Aspire. It is to be noted that OE electrcially folding side rear view mirrors were already available in this car. The mirrors can be folded using the interior switch provided on the A-pillar. What is sorely missed is the feature of automatic folding when locking and unlocking with the car key remote. Most modern cars get this feature from the factory. If not, even then, one can always get a model-specific auto fold relay module kit installed in the aftermarket. Unfortunately, there was no such kit ever made for Ford Figo Aspire. So, I decided to take it upon myself to find a DIY solution. After understanding the original wiring inside the drive side door, I designed a custom circuit using two relays and connected that with the existing wires. And voila! Now, my car's mirrors automatically fold whenever the lock/unlock button is pressed on the remote. This feature is very convenient during parking, and we don't need to remember to fold the mirrors manually before exiting the car. The best thing is that this modification costs very little to do. I would soon be sharing the DIY guide for this modification, which could help fellow owners of Ford Figo, Aspire, or even Freestyle get this must-have feature enabled.
