The person from the MS, are you from Nita Yuma?
Great video, you are a expert mechanic on the MODEL A FORD, I have a 1931 TUDOR, I have been trying to get it running, I have installed rebuild Zenith Carburetor, new points, condenser, plugs, set timing, I have fire from coil, points are firing, fresh gas, the car just won't start, it's turns over fine, it just like trying to start with switch off, I've owned this car for 19 years, it's only been a few months since it was running, any advice would be appreciated, also what are thoughts on Electronic Ignition on a MODEL A, enjoy all your videos, THANKS.
I’m not big on the electronic ignition, I still use points, if you pull coil wire out of dist. And spin it over do you have a blue spark?
I would also check the connection at the amp meter if they’re loose it will cause problems with starting
I would also disconnect gas line at carb and see if you have a full stream of gas flowing
And to eliminate a problem with carb squirt a little gas in the opening of carb and then try to start
@@randallstrickland8204 I will be working on it again this week, everything you mentioned I've done except for ammeter, good spark at coil and points, steady gas flow, I'll check the ammeter and let you know what I find, THANKS.
Hello there- Thank you for posting this, there aren’t many videos showing this process. Do you happen to know the part number on that reamer so I can better my search?
She's unique as it gets!❤ Naturally talented--
I got a book from the library titled - Eric Claptons guitar . It was a non fiction featuring Wayne Henderson during a build and commissioned guitar gift for Eric Clapton . It was more like a daily routine of Wayne's days while constructing a Dreadnought guitar for Clapton and then Wayne delivering it to Clapton. Interesting book . That was back about 2002 I believe.
Yes I have that book also my son was working with Gerald Anderson at that time learning to build and was there when book was being written
What a talent!
Impressive! These were sold mostly in Mexico. In person, I've only seen one in the US in my life. I actually never knew the engines were from Perkins. Yours looks to be in really nice condition. 👍

May I add.............SHE.........is beautiful!!
I always wondered how that works, thank you!
I absolutely love it. 🥰
This is brilliant. I was looking at doing this on my TA14 but this looks much better. I have all the Kwik Way tools to do it. What is the part number of the shell end mill and do you use the same one for A and B? It looks like you had to modify it in the gap under the cap.
Loved that bird.
Bet that AC unit blows fuses trying to keep the temp down on the hot pickin’ and playing in the workshop! Fantastic!😊
I’m in love 🥰
Beautiful and talented - not you Wayne. Cheers from the Mississippi Delta
85-140 gear oil
What type of oil/weight did you use in the steering box?
👌👌😊
Awesome video! Thanks Randall.😊
Another great model a video, think a for keeping on
As a fellow Strickland, I enjoyed your video. If you hadn't identified the location, I could have believed it was here in North Alabama.
Beautiful view. and great tour
Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Real nice pictures of the farmlands on your tour.
I love these type of events. Great footage 👍
My Dad has a 31 Model A Roadster. He drove that from Joliet Illinois to New York City in 1939 with my mother t see th Worlds Fair. Can you imagine 30 mph on Rt 30 all that way.
That super cool I'd like to have one
Where did all the classic cars come from?
i have the same troy in my barn , they were the best , much heavier than the other pony and newer types ..just a all around great tiller ...
Yes they are!
I have a Garden way pony, smaller tiller, maybe older, a bit finicky but it still tills. Oats and field peas are another good cover crop that can give ya a little nitrogen.
Man, we started the same thing 3 years ago. Compacted clay in an acre field. And you aint lying about how hard and how much time it takes. But we are doing it anyway. Your garden looks great! Clay is hard to work, but nothing better for retention of moisture and nutrients which are hard to come by sometimes. I dont think a soil test can say anything but you need nitrogen :)
yes we just have to keep feeding our soil,I forgot I"ve also planted soy beens to!
Marina and wayne just great job and loved your thunderbird, from daniel boone national forest cabin on the hill big howdy
Thank you. That thunderbird is Wayne’s
i had that bolt break off and got stuck in the flywheel what a mess i took the starter off and worked the flywheel with a crowbar until it popped up and i grabbed it I also pulled out another bolt as well and a lock washer with a magnet on the end of a coathanger through the starter hole got lucky i didnt have to remove the trans great video too
Yes they can be a bugger sometimes
Sir that's a nice tiller.Oldie and a goodie.Thanks for sharing.
Thank you glad you enjoyed
Looks great Randall! Do you silage tarp the garden between seasons to suppress weeds? Fellow farmer. Keep uploading👍🏽
Thank you. No but I planted rye and red clover and there was no room for weeds over the winter
Great garden! My 45 year old ServiceStar tiller just quit this year. Tines locked up but there may be a fix!
Hope it's not to bad to fix!
I have a 38 year old 8hp Troybilt Horse with a Briggs & Stratton engine - great machine.
I think when I bought mine there were options for a 6-7-8hp at that time I had a IHC cub cadet lawn mower with a Kohler engine and it gave good service so thats why I got 7 hp, Briggs also makes a great engine
Big boy tomatoes and I forgot the others
looks like the 8hp horse, one i have had a 7hp on it, great machines mine is one of first 3 years, no model or serial # on it
the first models had the gas tank mounted the other way
Ok mine is a 7hp
@@randallstrickland8204 looking at old motor i had the 6hp techumseh, the 7 is usually a kohler, the first few years had a smaller square gas tank on left side
I’m thinking I bought mine in early 80. Wonder when the first one was made
@@randallstrickland8204 from what cs there said was like 67, grandpa bought his in like 69 and serial# started early 70's
May i ask what kind of tomatoes do you grow?
Big boy and not sure about others as they were given to us, got a late start planting them
@@randallstrickland8204 ok good. We might try those next year. We have the better bush (this is the first year for us on those). We normally do jet stars but they have not been good for us.
Looks great
Looks like it was a good time.
Yes always fun with a T and friends 😊
Hey Randall, did you used to own an Anderson Manolin?
My son plays a Anderson he and Gerald were good friends,Gerald taught him to make instruments
@randallstrickland8204 asked bc your name sounds familiar, thought you might be the guy I bought mine from 10yrs or so ago in WNC. The man I bought it from told me to give it hell, and I have 😆
Thank you
Thanks Pablo,
Having installed many hundreds of Heli-coils in aircraft engine parts over the years, I found that it is quick and easy to cut off extra coils with a good quality pair of side cutters. The shape of,the cut from the cutters doesn’t seem to leave a burr, and the thread always screws in smoothly.
Thanks,I didn't want to leave a burr , I've used side cutter to cut before
Great video
Thanks
@@randallstrickland8204 you are welcome
