Great video Andrey. I've hit regularly with Madhav since he was 11. It's been very impressive to see how much he's improved the last two years, primarily how consistent his ground strokes are even as he's hitting harder and harder. He also has a little brother that is very good as well.
the real miracle of players this age is that their tendons aren't destroyed.. most kids can't play so much before they have injuries, and therefore can't get this good.
The young kid has tremendous talent and has alot of potential to turn pro if that's his goal. I am also taking nothing away from Andrey who also has polished game.
I agree; his follow thru on both wings are very similar to Sinner's. On the forehand, you see that trademark follow-thru loop, and his backhand reminds me of a hybrid between Sinner and Medvedev (notice the right arm aiding in the backhand with a controlled pull, and the right elbow placement and over the shoulder follow-thru), with emphasis on spin and control. For a 13 year old, he has really good footwork and technique. Have him put on a little more muscle/grow taller, hit thru the ball by moving forward thru the shot, and he'll be very very tough to beat.
viewer from ATX here. some friends of mine are planning to watch the women's ITF event next week. would be cool to cheer for you in the men's event next month!
Love his backhand more than his forehand. That could become a dangerous weapon for him. He is more consistent and makes much less errors than on FH. Regardless he is great
Andrey, I have watched your videos since I saw your video on the yonex pro 97 racket. I think your foot speed is your only issue. The kid is getting to the ball quickly and is a step faster in your rallies giving him the advantage. Work on your foot speed and you will improve greatly. Your strokes are fine.
Hey man, love the video! I'm a full-time player myself, about to start posting more on youtube. What camera do you use here for filming? It's really great with the angle and quality! Keep up the good work. Best, Simon
You need to travel to California to play more tournaments. Fly to LA for weekends. Play smaller level tournaments so you can get a lot of matches in. Small prize money UTR tournaments. Good luck in Austin! p.s. more videos please!
I disagree with your Utr projections about him playing like a 10utr because of the serve return handicap. His ground striking technique is undoubtedly world class.
@@andreysmirnov7461 no offense, but UTR says otherwise. He could definitely be higher than how high he already is, but the top 50 ish ranked players are 10 UTR or above. Maybe Madhav doesn’t play many national rankings, but he does play UTR so his rating does reflect his skill. I don’t think he can “easily” be number 1, but he definitely has a bright future and is no joke!
14U boys are still moon balling each other. This kid is playing 18's & Open tourneys & beating men. Taking sets off D1 players in practice. Don't sleep on him.
I know this kid!!! Madhav is unreal, he’s gonna make it far in the sport!
Really hope so!
I lost to him -3-2 in a tournament in July as a 6 utr 😎
No way, maybe d3

His footwork is so perfect and fluid
I like how fast he is and that his grip is semi western and not more extreme, and gets enough topspin with it
Yes and topspin does not come only from the grip, its just a part of it

Yeah i really hope he makes it somewhere in ATP world
Nice video! I have been hitting with Madhav all the time since 2018! He is definitely okay at tennis
only ok?
sounds jealous :)
Madhav has Similar groundies to Sinner which is impressive!
Yeah! Very clean technique!
actually his FH is more like Taylor Fritz
backhand more like Zverev

Im most likely going to go. Pretty sure wont get in but will travel as Alternate and hope to get in
This kid's movement is amazing. So light.
Madhav is a beast!
What a great backhand
Yeah his backhand is very clean
His backhand is beautiful

This kid doing pretty well as of 2024. He’s currently ranked 8 nationally, I think that’s U18.

Yep i will be dedicating a lot of time to footwork in the off season
This kid is nasty!! If progression continues then this kid will be a top 5 college player
spasibo za video.
Thanks for the comment :)
I noticed a lot of younger players string with low tension, must be to save their arms from full poly
Awesome vid

His right arm is heavily stronger than his left😂 but he is an outstanding player
He isn’t giving you trouble, he is wiping the floor with you, Andrey

Great play!
Thank you!
When are ya'll playing tournys in SoCal next?
Not sure:) But may come next weekend to play a wild card event into UTR 25K
Why does everyone want to only go D1 now like we need more American pros
Fritz plays with the elbow pointing down.
In that orange I could see him at UVA
Great tennis guys!
I'm from Austin! :D
hes grown early changes alot of things
Great hitting
God wait till he gets taller. Gonna be insane.
Yeah im super excited to see how far he will be able to go in this sport
dude his right arm is so much bigger than his left
bruh
Court looks familiar, don't think it's Seattle
From Corpus Christi but close enough
very nice technique. kinda reminds me of medvedev
I can't believe he's only 13

look the difference between the two arms
He is more slender than slender man
all the best madhav 🤩
he is like medvedev
Madhav is only 13 years old and he is so good. He would be on tour soon.
This kid needs to do some weights he wants a shot at d5 (if there is a d5 school) Keepworking hard for maybe d3!!!!!!!!
This guy's technique is flatter .isn't it.
Dude this guy is thickkkkkkkkkkkkkkk in a bad way
He's 69th in the country for 14 and under
He did not play national tournaments yet. This guys is going to be easily #1 in US
